Hi, good afternoon to you. Good afternoon. I hope you are very well today. So I was looking back on my video on Saturday about how to check— make your child more resilient, and it struck me that it's a little bit long-winded. So I wanted to be shorter and to the point. How to make your child more resilient more easily. First thing here is that Resilience is something that we are all born with. We are born to be resilient. A child learns to walk by first crawling, pulling themselves up the side of a chair or sofa or whatever, and then walking, falling over, getting up, and going again. So we're born resilient. What is it that we learn? We learn to be fragile somehow. We learn that making a mistake says something about us. We learn that Failing makes us a failure in some way. We learn that we're not good enough and we have to be better. So the ultimate way to make your child more resilient is to ensure that they learn none of these things, so that you love them. See, for them to see this for themselves. Yeah. To see that you love them no matter what mistakes they make, to help them learn that practice makes perfect in any skill, but that they are perfect without that skill. They don't. need to learn to do anything. The ultimate cure-all for every ailment, emotional ailment, is unconditional love. Your unconditional love for your child, and for your child to see that unconditional love, that they are perfect just as they are. So the question is Um, let me say, question is— So the issue is not whether they aren't very good at something yet, it's whether they want to get better. Because everybody takes time to master stuff. Everybody takes time to master stuff. So how do we How do we master stuff? How do we master anything? With time and focus, like we did when we were learning to walk. And by not saying— by seeing that not being able to do something straight away says absolutely nothing about who we truly Ah, okay. Stay safe, take care, all the best, goodbye.
