I've spent years learning all about positive psychology, behavioral science, and lots more stuff to do with the science of habits, and I'm sharing all this with you. Positive psychology is at the heart of the SlimPod Programme. I know that when you've been battling with your weight for a long time, you create a negative body image. It happened to me. I hated the way I looked, and then that filtered down into my identity, and I started hating me too. Then I just ate more and more to make myself feel better, and food became my best friend and comforter. Only years later did I learn that happiness and positivity require a little effort because we've actually inherited a brain that inclines to go towards the negative. It tends to ignore the positives in life, but it can absolutely be trained to go the other way, and this is what I help you do. And a positive mindset is such an important part of this journey because once you're feeling better from within, you begin to take back control of food and you're able to make unemotional and informed choices. This is why I ask you to write down your 3 wins or positives every day. It's helping you to focus on the things that you might have ignored. After a while, this becomes a habit and you begin to notice that your brain automatically thinks in a positive way rather than a negative way. That's when you're really cooking on gas.
