So let's get rocking and rolling. I'm going to be setting you some small tasks each week, but they'll be very easy and doable because everyone has such busy lives. These tasks are in addition to listening and noting down your wins, and as I said, the wins are crucial. But as one lovely lady in our Slimpod Club said last week, the wins are like giving yourself little high fives, and I couldn't have described it better. They make you feel good, they're changing the way you think and feel, and most of all, when you do them regularly, they'll help create that deep shift. These are the little daily actions that are taking you in the right direction, and you're not having to do much because the Slimpod is helping you with them. And please don't panic if you're not finding those wins yet. Some people take longer than others. This system is unique and it works on your individual brain. If you're not noticing differences or wins, then you can give yourself a helping hand by setting yourself very small daily actions around food and exercise. These can be simple daily changes you know you want to make. Your brain will soon get the idea. So let's get this moving. We're going to kick things off by getting you in the right place mentally. This means brushing off the December cobwebs and embracing the new year with the right attitude. To do that, you need to know what you want from 2020. So think ahead. When you get to the end of this year and look back, What do you really want to have achieved? Spend time on this because it's you, not me, who'll be committing to it. I can help you by coaching you, but you're the one who needs to take responsibility for your future. You need to go all in this time, no half measures. Now, if you get anxious about setting goals, that will probably be about fear of failure. We'll be working on this together, but it's important that you bash through and overcome it. I'll be helping you to reframe the fear and turn it into something positive that won't hold you back anymore. So go ahead and set those goals. This is the first crucial step. I do this once a month, not just in January, because it keeps me on track. I really recommend that you take an evening this week and hook up with Brian Mayne's goal mapping system. It's free and it's effective. It's at goalmapping.com. This is your very important task this week. Spend time thinking about this deeply. What result would mean most to you? What's achievable? This is where the motivation will come from, deep down inside. If your goal is deep and meaningful, it's like the wind beneath your wings. It will keep you going because stopping won't be an option. And this goal setting is really to make you think about it so that your conscious mind knows the direction of travel. It's just like a sat nav. When you get in the car, you tell it where you want to go. With your weight loss, your subconscious will do a lot of the work to help you get there.
