I've been working with people who want to lose weight for a long, long time now, and I regularly come into contact with people who have just so much self-doubt about their ability to lose weight that it holds them back and causes self-sabotage. They've just stopped believing that they can actually lose weight, and this is such a huge barrier to success because it's a belief that has developed over many years of trying and failing. But here's the good news: you're now in the right place to stop all that and move on with your life, because it doesn't have to be like this at all. So many of the beliefs around your weight have started in childhood or teenage years, and they create an idea that over time becomes an ingrained self-limiting belief. These damaging beliefs are just not useful at all, because for so many people, the beliefs they told have trapped them into a diet fail, diet fail cycle for most of their lives. I'm guessing this is you too, otherwise you probably wouldn't be watching this video. This cycle of behavior creates huge problems and it leads to so much self-sabotage. Fear of not being able to lose weight long-term is all wrapped up in this too. Then another vicious cycle emerges and that's the one that stops you facing the fear. I know it's crazy, the power our minds have over our lives, but it's true. The upshot is that because of this lack of trust and lack of belief, you become skeptical about anything that might work, and you don't even trust yourself to do it. But it doesn't need to be that way at all. I'm particularly passionate about helping you sort this out because I come across I've done it with a lot of people who buy my programme, and after a few weeks of watching and listening, they just stop. And the puzzling thing is, there's absolutely no reason to stop. They're listening to a lovely, soothing, relaxing voice, and it's proven to change eating habits, and yet people still stop. It's not a diet, it's not hard work in any way, shape, or form, and yet because there's a pattern of behaviour running in their brain, something makes them stop. And this means they're still on the hamster wheel and never getting anywhere. It literally prevents success. And my mission in this video is to help you realise that this is going on so that you can continue past the first few weeks and succeed. That's truly all I care about. Your success is my success. So I want you to keep going and last the course. This is why I'm talking about this now, because I know it will happen and I want it— I want to get in there quickly so that I can save you from yourself. There are ways you can stop this happening, and this is your task this week. And it's really important you take this on board because I can't be inside your head doing this for you. I need you to help yourself with this one. I want you to believe in yourself. I want you to have courage. I want you to trust yourself and have faith that you can bash through this. Trust is an interesting word because most people have given up trusting. Believe me, I know the way you're feeling. It takes a lot to trust something or someone again. But I've gone to a lot of effort to have this system tested and studied independently so that people can lend their trust to it. We know it works because 95% of people in our clinical trial proved it worked for them. They stayed on for 6 months because they were on a clinical trial. I want you to stay the course too because you're worth it and you owe it to yourself after so many years of torment. You owe it to yourself because enough is enough and you need to enjoy life now without constantly worrying about your weight. So the first task is this: think about your life and the story you've been telling yourself for years. What's the pattern of behavior that keeps you stuck? What are the beliefs you've adopted that need to be changed for you to move on? How would you change the script, the story that you keep playing in your mind over and over again? The same story you've been telling yourself for years and years. You know the one, the script saying that you can't lose weight and you've given up believing you can. Yes, that one. Because if you don't change it, it will just keep running and running forever like the best soap opera. Awareness that this is happening can often be the thing that helps you stop it. When you catch yourself doing it and know it's going on, it's a revelation. It's like stepping through into another world. You see, we're always very good at berating ourselves and telling ourselves how rubbish we look and how useless we are when it comes to losing weight and keeping it off. But what sort of messages are we sending our body? It's a huge disconnect. The mind and body are linked. Our thoughts really matter. I even hear people saying that they're not good enough to be a size 12. What utter rubbish! Scrap the script. It's harmful and no longer serves you. Give yourself kind messages and be nice to your body. It will respond and let go, and that's what we need it to do. Let go of the fat that it's been storing for years. Let go of the defences and the coat of armour that it's been using to protect itself for years. Let go of the negativity. When you do this, you'll really have the biggest breakthrough ever.
