Rachael weighed 19 stone and felt immobilized, suspecting an undiagnosed condition. Approaching 50, she was desperate for change and refused to accept her deteriorating health. She was ready for a turning point.
I was miserable.
I was 19 stone and thought I had some undiagnosed condition that was preventing me from moving. I didn't move, couldn't move, struggled with everything, and desperately, you know, just before I was 50, so desperately needed a solution and wanted to turn my life around. I did not want to accept this, this state of body I had and my lack of abilities, basically.
And so then something happened.
Then I stumbled across SlimPod. I got, I got made unemployed and I had, that was really good timing actually, so I had time to invest in myself, searched for what solution I could come up with, something that was sustainable, and then come across SlimPod. And the rest was history. Listened to Trevor once and that was it. That was the turning point. Yeah, well, before I was always like, I'm over 40, I'm not going to lose weight. I've been overweight most of my adult life. It can't be done. I've got this weight when I was over 40. It's going to be with me forever. And then all of a sudden it was like, well, actually, yes, I can do this. And holding on to that image of myself the way I wanted to be at the forefront of my mind just propelled me on. And knowing and believing I could, I could do it, and I did do it.
