How This One Mental Shift Can Change Your Life

Sol Brah argues that your thoughts create your reality and that personal responsibility is the key to change. By discarding limiting beliefs, reprogramming your subconscious with visualization and affirmations, and interpreting all events as beneficial, you can reshape your life. He emphasizes self-love, rejecting victim identity, and using pattern-interrupts to break habitual thinking.

No one is at fault for the state of your life except you. Seems harsh, but it is true. The circumstances of your life have come about because of the total sum of your previous thoughts and actions. Whatever you find yourself in how much money you have, your health, it's all created by the thoughts that you've had previously and the energy that you've been putting out. It's being reflected back to you. Until you understand that principle, you will never be able to improve, or you will struggle in your improvement because you're fighting against the inertia. You're trying to do one thing, but your thoughts are saying another. You could be trying to get a girlfriend and your thoughts say, there are no good girls out there, relationships aren't worth my time, I'm never gonna be able to find a girl, but otherwise you're like, I would like a girlfriend, I would like a girlfriend, I'm not, I'm not worthy of a girlfriend, is the thoughts that you're sending out. You think, oh, I'm just thinking it so it's not affecting my life. You're like, I'm gonna try and make more money, but your thoughts are saying 'Oh, businesses, small businesses never work. I'm not going to be able to sell this. No one's going to want to buy this.' That's the frequency you're putting out, so you meet it. You say on this hand you're trying to do something else, it doesn't work. Maybe it'll work 1 in a million times, 1 in 100 times, but understand that the broadcasting thoughts that you're putting out, the energy that you're exhibiting is going to have the utmost effect on the circumstance of your life, what you see, what you encounter, and the level of success you have. This is how the world works. It's not the baseline, which everyone thinks is like, what happens is you go out in the world and then you shake your hand here and then you earn your business degree there and then you blah blah blah. But there's so much behind the scenes in the energetics, because everything is energy, that you're missing out on if you're not utilizing this bad boy up here in your noggin, the brain, and its connection to the etheric field of everything else. And when you have that connection, you understand that connection, everything flows better. You're not going to be fighting against the inertia that you're creating with the opposing thoughts, as I mentioned. So Realize how the world actually works and you're gonna— it's gonna be a lot better. Act and think accordingly to those principles. This is the fundamental idea that I want to talk about in this video. There's gonna be a couple different angles to this, and of course I could speak for years and years about this stuff, but it's relatively simple. You just have to let go of the previous beliefs that you've had about them, about life, so that you're not, again, holding on to one thing but then trying to do another, and then you're stuck. You don't get the full thing. Like, just dispel all of the previous beliefs that have got you where you are. You want to improve your life because what you've been doing wasn't working. And I can say from my experience that when I just went, all right, I'm going to give this a real go my thinking, my beliefs, my perspective, my attitude. I'm gonna really shift it, and I'm not gonna care if it seems weird or it seems like it wouldn't work or whatever, and I'll just do it. And hey, things started working out better for me. You know, it's as simple as that. If someone had sat me down at age 16— I'm gonna tell my kids this when they're as soon as they can understand it. But if someone sat me down at 16 and told me this stuff, I would have avoided a lot of BS, a lot of unnecessary pain and struggle and everything else. And I would have been able to create the life that I enjoy now a lot sooner, which is obviously what we want. Just on that note, don't put time limits on this stuff because as soon as your thinking changes, the quantum effect, it's just— it's coded into everything retroactively as well. So the belief that things take time is also a limiting belief because you could bump into someone at the cafe who offers you a great job. The next day. Things happen that quickly. Why not? Because you've been told not. But that's not how it works. So don't put limits on any of these things as you're trying to change what you're thinking about. Your mind is how you experience the world. It's, it's literally the lens that we're perceiving everything through. Everything's got to come through our brain. Our eyes, our ears, nose, mouth, but it's all processed by the brain. All the senses are encoded by the brain. That includes our memories, our personality, the history, what we tell ourselves about the world, beliefs. All of that is in the head that this external world gets perceived by. We change the lens, we change what's in here, we change our experience about here. So when you change the lens, you change the experience. You change the experience, you end up changing how the world actually is physically. The physical world begins to shift in our favor when we change how we choose to look at the world. It's counterintuitive. It's counterintuitive to— well, it's not counterintuitive, it's counter to the knowledge that they tell us that, you know, well, it's counter the knowledge that they don't tell us because no one teaches you this stuff at school. Because if we did, we will teach it to people in the new schools, but in the normal schools, the schools that are meant to create slaves and brainwash you, they don't tell you this stuff. Because then everyone would have freedom. Everyone would think for themselves. Everyone would choose to step out of the victimhood. Everyone would choose to step out of fear, and their life would be better. The populace would be healthier, less easy to control. So that's why they don't tell it. Your mind is where it all begins. If you, if you think about the mind and then the outside. So the mind is the center. We can't— you may have this perception that like, oh, I'm just a person going through the world and my brain is a very small part of this huge physical reality. That tends to— that perspective diminishes your power. But if you actually understand that, okay, think about the mind as the apex, as the center, as this place of power that shifts everything else. It doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense because the physical, like, oh, actually my brain's quite small, it has an effect, has the most effect, and it's, it's all your personal reality tunnel. Your mind has an effect on the personal reality tunnel that you're experiencing, so you're the center of that. If you're able to structure your internal belief system so that everything you see is a sign of your impending success, or it's a sign of your success, then it shall be so for you. You will live with peace, freedom, things will work out for you more. You can just delete this part of the human experience which is thinking that things shouldn't be this way, they should be that way. And if they're that way, it's good. But if they're this way, it's bad. And all of that, this is stress that people put themselves through unnecessarily. It's learned behavior. It's like if it's rainy one day, you— everyone knows one person's like, oh, it's raining. Oh, that's just such a 'Damper on me, I can't go outside,' you know. It's just raining. We're now— the plants can get food. That's a perspective of the rain. Go walk in the rain. But someone will let the appearance of rain— their belief system is rain is bad. Now they're exhibiting a bad hell reality because of something external to them. But you have control over that process, and this is the point. That I am trying to make. Excuse me. If you have that understanding where there are no bad events, right, because you're interpreting everything as a sign of your impending success, you will keep on taking action. Someone who doesn't have that setup may have a few good runs and then they'll run into a huge setback that just, oh, Bad luck, Jimmy. And now they're put out for weeks, months because of this one event which they are ascribing this huge level of importance to. And they think it's over. It's over now. It's over. That's not real other than being real to them because they make it so. But it doesn't have to be that when it comes to events. They just happen. They just are. Events are. They, they, they is. Then we attach meaning. This is a good event. This is a bad event. But this is just happening. Things are happening. And then because the, the mind is the perspective that we perceive everything through, we see a good event, we see a bad event. But you can choose to have everything you see is a good event. It's very simple. Have you ever heard the phrase, "It is what it is"? It's very deep because things are what they are. It is what it is. Take this glass. It is a glass, right? But then the mind comes in, "Oh, it's a skinny glass." is not the right glass. Why do I have this glass when I could have a better glass? There are so many other glasses out there. Sure, this one holds my drink, but it doesn't have a handle. If I had a bigger glass, my life would be better. This glass is the reason no one likes me. And so on, so forth. The glass just is what it is, and then we attach these meanings, and then that world is created by our mind. Most people are unconscious in how they are giving meaning to events, but you can become conscious and choose meaning. The power then turns into— your power turns into choosing a positive meaning for everything that is. If you lose a business supplier, cool, we'll find another one. We'll find a better one. Broke your foot? Fantastic. Now the other foot is going to get stronger. That is how you begin to think with everything that happens. And if you can think about it over a small event, you can think about it over a large event that has a lot of alleged importance, a lot of perceived importance. For events that have a small amount of perceived importance, you can do the same for events that have a lot of, a lot of perceived importance. It doesn't matter. The principle is the same. Some people will accept that, like, oh yeah, I can I can just ignore this small thing happening, but I can't ignore this huge thing happening. Why is one thing huge and one thing bad? This happened, this happened. Our mind creates the importance. There's another expression my parents used to tell me, don't make a mountain out of a molehill, right? A molehill, very small little hill that moles make when they dig in the ground. Mountain is a mountain. Don't make a molehill, a small deal, a mountain, a big deal, because yeah, why do it? And it's your mind that's doing that. The reverse of that is you can make a mountain a molehill, or even better, a mountain, a fun water slide. So now it's not this huge thing that you have to climb. It's a fun water slide to go down. And so you begin to see how all of these perceived events can be fed through this new perspective in your mind to create a better outcome. Did that thing happen to you in the past because you're unlucky, everyone's bad to you, or did it happen because it was what was required to happen to give you the strength and fortitude that you need to ascend to the highest level later on. Same event in your past, but you choose the meaning. One is going to keep you in a loop of putting out a negative vibration, and the other is something that strengthens you and makes you better. Which you gonna do? Use your mind to rewrite the story for your best benefit. Could be something. Okay, I'm— I've mostly talked about things that happen in the future or happening to you in the present. Any memory that you have, you may have thought about a situation and a memory of something, some event for 20 years, and you've perceived it as a bad thing the whole time. And every time you think of that memory, you get put into this, oh, so annoying that happened, or that was embarrassing. Go in and rewrite the story because you get to choose. Just because society tells you one thing doesn't mean it should be that way, especially for your personal interpretation of personal events that are only in your past memory now. They're not real. Where are they? Embarrassing event that keeps you crippled? I can't see it. So why bring it up? Why have it this huge mental load that then brings you down? Keep on doing that stuff, you're not going to improve as well. You're not going to attract the best stuff. You're not going to put out the, the, the best energy. At any point, pick up your pen, line through it, and then write a new narrative about anything. I am not this anymore. Well, you don't want to say I am not something. You want to say I am and then choose the the opposite of the bad thing. That's the better way to frame these thoughts as they— as you ingrain them, as you write them down. You can imagine whatever it is that you want. If you can imagine it, then it can happen. You can be it. Why not? People think they have wild dreams that will never come true, but someone's living a dream, someone's doing that job, someone's living that life, so why not you? Even if they're not living that life, even if you don't know anyone that's living that life, why can't you? There is, there is no limit. The only limit is the mental ability to perceive that as possible. That's the real limitation. And the ones that achieve the most are the ones that do not let that barrier affect what they want to do. And really, most of what we're talking about is not out there. You want a good job that you enjoy in a niche interest that you have, or a particular skill set, or relationship, whatever. These are not big asks, they're not crazy wild things. It's all possible, but you have to make sure in order to get them, you have to stop and let go of that that past negative thinking, those past beliefs that maybe that may have put you on the track where you haven't encountered those good things yet. So you can imagine anything, anything you can get, but you have to act as if the thought is real. Act as if it's real. Act as if it's— there's just no doubt whatsoever that it's going to happen, that it is happening. No, no doubt. Banish all fear, and you can be the ultimate creator of your universe, your reality tunnel, your reality tunnel, your mind, your perspective of the world. You're the ultimate creator of that. That is your divine skill. Most people unfortunately are imagining a reality that they would rather not be in. They don't know that they are the master imaginator. I'm never going to be rich. My health is bad because of this that I can't do anything about, my genetics. It's impossible to fit in. I'm never going to make friends. These are things that people will perceive, events that they may even just be completely misinterpreting or misremembering. And thus create a perspective based on that stuff, which is then a belief that they view the world through, and then they create that reality for themselves. You don't need to be one of those persons. Whatever you choose to be the prevailing narrative of your life will be reflected back to you. The thoughts we exhibit will put us in A little windy. Hope you can hear me still. The thoughts we exhibit will put us on the energetic level of those thoughts. You have good positive thoughts of potential success, happiness, love, you will encounter more of that. And if you think about the reverse, then you will encounter more of that. It doesn't matter why that works. It doesn't matter that it doesn't make sense in your logical mind. It literally doesn't matter. But that is the principle. And heed my words if you want to improve your life. If you don't improve your life, you're enjoying, enjoying being in the dumps, go for it. That's your choice. Everything is your choice to change. Life is just better when you do it. Why would you ever choose a negative story then? Only because it's learned, only because it's something that you're used to. Some people are stuck in negative thinking and it scares them to think otherwise, so they will choose the uncertain— sorry, they will choose the certainty of the negative that they are used to because they're too scared of the uncertainty of the potential positive if they were to make a change in their life. It gives some people a perverse sense of power to think, "Well, that's never going to work out for me. I'm just a little sad old little man that never— nothing ever works out for." And because they think that, the next time some hint of an opportunity comes up, they just— no one wants to be around someone like that. They don't try the opportunity. They don't even look for it. They don't pursue it. Then it's a self-creating cycle, but they take happiness. They're taking some level of satisfaction from predicting that it wouldn't work out. Because that's the only sense of power and control that they know, because they don't understand this principle that I'm trying to tell you. So beware of those people. Don't become one of those people. If you've been one of those people, then let go of that reality. The negative forces that exist in this world, they love it when you choose to be a victim, when you think of yourself as a victim. No matter what happens to you, you can be the warrior that gets up with his sword and shield and continues on, or you can be the victim and lay there, lay on your back, throw your sword and shield away. Oh, I'm a victim, stab me. Two choices. When you see yourself as a victim, again, this principle of the mind perspectives, you see yourself as a victim, you become a victim. You become easier to take advantage of. Other people see you as a victim. It's easier to victimize someone who's already playing the role of the victim. I'm a victim. Victimize me. Oh no, I got victimized again. Don't be that guy. Be the warrior. Perspective and power and effort and belief— creation of your reality. And the degree to which that you are 100% behind that will be the force factor for how quickly your life changes. Again, no time limits, no limitations. Just set the beliefs, set the perspectives, see what you want to have and achieve, and then go for it and act as if it's done. Act as if it's literally inevitable, because it is. And then when you act like that, it'll be so, and you'll get what you want. So you've chosen to view everything that happens as a benefit to you. Thus it's going to become so. You may not be able to see that, but it will. So how do you create more positive and random events that can spring forth synchronicities that you can then manipulate in your mind to bring more good to you, right? You can be spontaneous. There's a power in spontaneity, because if you do the same thing every day, you're trapped in a repeating cycle you know every part of, and you'll find it harder to pursue this magical path. And part of that is because our previous perspectives and our previous self-image is wrapped up in the activities that we've done for years and years and years. If you go to a particular shop, go to a particular bar, and you go to that bar and you drink and you think about how bad your life is, that's an ingrained perspective. That is coded into physical actions that are habits, okay? And that can be good, it can be bad. A lot of the times, if you want to improve your life, the physical habits and things like that, they're encoded. That's something you want to get away from. So be spontaneous, do new things. Pattern interrupts are really powerful things. Following your intuition is something that you will have to learn to do once you begin to put out— excuse me— put out these better perspectives that'll lead you into a magical path that'll get you randomly— well, not randomly, but you don't know the direction the path's going to take. You can see one or two steps ahead. Your intuition will bring you to the next steps. You won't be able to see the entire web of choices and events that'll bring you to your 10-year vision. You can just trust that it'll happen because it will. So you need to follow your intuition. That requires doing things out of the ordinary. You're walking home from work and your intuition says go down that path. That's not the way home. The intuition told you to do it, so you better do it. And maybe it's just something as simple as you'll walk past a new juice shop. Oh, I didn't know that was there. Cool, they have organic juice. I'll get an organic juice on lunch now. And now you have more vibrational energy from that fresh, delicious juice, which enables you to put out a stronger field to attract other things. You don't know how these things work, but your intuition said, hey, walk down there. Could be that there was an old friend that from school who was also at the juice shop that you never would have gone there unless you just had this little feeling like, huh, I should go down there. Why? It doesn't matter. You have to follow your intuition and do spontaneous things, and then that allows the patterns to be broken, which you can then reform, stepping intuitively each, each space to create this new divine life via your mental perspectives. It can be hard to do that and just follow your intuition if you've been a logical person your entire life, as most people have been following their logic as we've been taught for most of their lives. So what is he talking about? Listening to voices in your head? Nice one. Yeah, like I'm gonna do that. But you know, it can seem weird, scary, or you insane. Logic though will tell you that life is hard, things don't just happen by magic. If your experience has been that your whole life, I can see why you may think that. But— windy— your life has been that way because you've thought a certain way, and you've thought that logic is the only answer. And therefore, what you think, your mind is going to give back to you. So you have to just, like I said at the start of the video, disappear all of that logical stuff and just see what happens. Because when you really go into it, the magic starts to happen, and that'll give you some logical analysis of evidence that you experience, which will tell you that this is legit. So we think logically, we think rationally, because we've learned that from other people. We were given a framework of reality that this is how it is, that you accepted because you were a kid and you take your surroundings as people tell you. And then you reinforce that framework with negative thinking over and over and over again until that way of life kind of crystallizes into something. Out of your imagination, what you create there becomes the life you experience. So again, lots of people are imagining a reality that they wouldn't really— they shouldn't really want to be in, but they are. There is a divine blueprint of your life where everything unfolds perfectly. You're doing what you're meant to be doing, where magic is created. And the following intuition and deleting any limiting beliefs and choosing to see everything that happens as a bonus to you is kind of— is how you get that divine blueprint to unfold. If you're— if you've been tapped into any degree at your life, maybe this isn't 100% of your belief system, but you've had experiences where maybe on holiday you're walking around and bump into someone, or you see something which sparks your curiosity, so you follow it, and then you have this amazing time and everything's like, whoa, how is this all happening? It seems like magic. That is an experience where you've tapped into this spontaneous flow of intuitive magic, and you're not— you're in the moment, you're not thinking, you're not limiting. Maybe it's a new experience, so you have no frame of reference to box it into something negative. When you step on this kind of yellow brick road, life just flows. And each one of us has a version of this that we can kind of walk, but personal destiny, a door that we can open. There's a throne with our name on it for your life, and you have to find it, sit on it. It's got to be visualized and impressed on the subconscious. This is why we choose to consciously have these beliefs. When our conscious mind is intentionally doing something, the subconscious mind, which is the powerful— this connection to the superconscious mind, God, the energetic system that we're tapped into— this, the subconscious mind will accept whatever you're consciously doing and saying and believing as reality. Feedback loop. Create that for you. So you've got to visualize, impress this on the subconscious, believe it with, with no respect to what's currently happening around you. Ignore that. That's— this isn't real in that sense. It's not physical evidence that should keep you trapped there, because that's all it is. You've got to be thankful that you are yourself. And this goes back to perceiving the events of your entire life as a blessing. You got born as yourself. That's amazing. Everyone struggles with thoughts of, I wish I was more like that guy, I wish I had that girl's hair. No, you are yourself, and that is amazing. Hopefully you love yourself. You should love yourself. It's one of the biggest challenges I think that most humans face. There's something about it where maybe it's the way we were raised, maybe it's our experiences, but it's a struggle to love ourselves. I know I've had troubles with that. You think you can only love yourself if you perform a certain way, do a certain thing. But being thankful that you are yourself and loving yourself is at the heart of— and being happy that you're in this life, this world, that's kind of like at the core. If you don't feel that, then the thoughts of everything else kind of get a little bit wonky. So it's like the internal energy generator of self-love, which is really acceptance of this life. And a love that you are— love is the most powerful force, right? If you're trying to put out force to generate this mental perspective that you want to impress upon the superconscious and send out into the world in order to attract in physical reality, then love is the— love is the generator that can accelerate that. So self-love, be happy to be by yourself, you know, you have to be by yourself in because it's harder to follow your intuition if you're around a big group of people and they want to go eat donuts at the Seed Oil Bar. Okay, I don't really want to do that, but you're out there of the afternoon and whatever. And if you're getting into this stuff for the first time and you're trying to really shift your reality and improve your life, then yeah, you're gonna have to spend more time by yourself because then you're the only one that's kind of controlling what thoughts are going out, what energy you're perceiving, what perspectives. Because most people are locked into this limiting belief system where they, they're not going to agree with you. Everything's working out for my benefit. And they'll look at you like, what? You just lost your phone. And you'd be like, I am in the presence of reality. I'm connected to nature now. I don't have to talk to any annoying people on my phone. This is working out to be the best day ever. And be like, I would be so upset if I lost my phone. So you have— you see how other people can try to impact their reality tunnels onto you. They're subcon— they're unconscious. They don't know. Some people will be jealous and try to— that business will never work out. And it's just easier when you're by yourself. Obviously we have obligations and family and whatever else, but the challenge as well is to keep your perspectives energized, positive, when other people are trying to put realities onto you. You can't spend your whole life by yourself. You can't spend one day by yourself, most people. So becoming a wizard that can create your reality, it's about navigating that happy, positive perspective even when the other programmed people are trying to bring you down. So that's something to think about. Whoops. Another kind of point to this perspective is that God has perfect timing. The divine plan will lead to the perfect satisfaction of whatever it is that you want, but it may not happen in the time frame that you think or the way that you think. Like I said, it's a pfft path. Some terrible thing can happen to you, but it leads to something 5 years down the track that could not have happened if this other thing hadn't happened. You just don't know. And if you don't know, which no one knows, when you think you know, you're crystallizing one pathway out of all the incredible pathways and myriad of opportunities that could happen. You're saying this one is the only one that'll work. That's not smart. It's not true. But what it does do is lock you into a version of reality, which then if it, if life deviates from that, which it will, you're gonna be upset. So you're creating an upsetting perspective pathway, and that's silly. So there's one other kind of concept that is important to understand and think about, and it's that— it's kind of to do— it's, it's all related. It's to do with the mind, right? Everything that is allowed to enter your mind, including your own thoughts but also the impressions of others, that creates an equivalent thought form in the astral realm. You think of the astral realm as this big cloud sludge of energy that permeates everything. There's no locations really, there's no space, there's no time, it's not organized like us. It's just everything is all happening all at once. In that sense. And that's why we can think about someone across the world, they think about us, they call us, or we can get the feeling just before they call us. That's how the astral works. So a repeated thought, an action that you take, words said, all creates like an echoing thought form which increases in power in the spiritual, in the astral realm. So knowing this, you can create— you can think of building like a flywheel of increasing energy, of mental energy that supports you in your goals. And the more you meditate and actually put energy into that space and think about your goals, and you'll find that once you build up these mental patterns and perspectives, it'll be easier and easier to tap into them. It may seem hard at first, but eventually, probably within a few weeks, if you stick with it, you may have something happen which usually would have floored you, but now you just— zoop— I'm into my mental perspectives that I've built and I've curated and I've made strong. Okay, it literally doesn't faze you at all, and that's the best place to be, and it's so freeing and it's so powerful. But you can think about the astral architecture that your mind makes when you're repeating these affirmations, thoughts, perspectives, and what everything else. The stronger and more focused you are at building that energetic imprint, the quicker the resonance will kind of hum back at you. And that's what you can do with meditation when you have spare time, you're driving the car. You're in control of your mind, what goes into it and what is put out of it. All of this is kind of leaving your footsteps on that astral realm, on the sand dunes of reality. It's all about what you feed into your mind, what you allow to be in your subconscious. Someone says something you don't agree with, you don't want to be true for you, repeat the opposite positive affirmation to cancel out that negative thought. If you have a negative thought, cancel it out with the positive Affirmation opposite, and repeat it. When you've been doing this for a while, your auric field becomes charged with those patterns, those thought forms, and then you're gonna naturally resonate with and move towards such things— other people with the same perspectives, the events that will lead you to what you want to do with your life and improve your life. The mind does not discriminate between bad things or good things. It's like I said before, the negative imprinting of thinking will create this thought structure which you can get stuck in. So let's create a positive mental thought form structure that we get stuck in. That's what we should do. What you're going to plant as today, as seeds, will grow eventually, and we want to harvest the good fruits, yummy coconuts and mangoes and anything else. If you believe that you're doomed to failure, you'll create that. If you believe that you are brimming with success, there's no chance that you won't succeed, then you will also create that. Your perspective on reality matters more than reality. It itself. So with careful attention, we can choose to create and cultivate visions, ideas, goals, and literally concrete forms of reality with your focus.
