You've Been Programmed — How To Break Free

Sol Brah argues that family, education, and media program our beliefs into a self-fulfilling reality. He explains how the brain filters what we notice and news functions as a fear factory, then offers tools to reprogram: audit your beliefs, cut toxic inputs, upgrade your environment, and adopt what he calls a "Jolly Maxxed" mindset.

Hello everybody, today's video I'm going to tell you why the world is not real and why that's a good thing. Actually, it is the most liberating realization, the most freeing realization that you could possibly have. So I'm going to tell you what to do with that realization. I'm going to explain why it's not a scary thought. I'll speak on the role of the mind, of beliefs, and how it relates to the world we encounter to the point of literally creating it. I'll also dive into how our society tries to control us through manipulation of these beliefs, and how there are huge industries that are designed to cage us from our very birth. I'll also speak about what to actually do, what to practically do with all this knowledge in order to live the life that you desire, Create your own reality. One of the biggest mistakes you can make in life is to take a commonly held group belief and accept that as a law for you. Let me repeat that. One of the biggest mistakes you can do in this life is to take a commonly held group belief that other people believe as a group and then apply it to you as this immutable law. Very bad mistake you can do. The moment that you do that, the moment you just absorb it without questioning it, you've handed your entire experience of reality over to someone else. You, you've given them the option to create that part of reality for for you, and it might not be a reality that you want. Most people have done this with hundreds of beliefs, maybe thousands, probably thousands, with everything that makes up our world— beliefs about what's possible, about what's realistic, about what they deserve and what the world is. And then they wonder why their life feels like a cage when you've been given all these other realities by other people. Those beliefs and perceptions about the world create the reality you are experiencing. There are many individual and personal multiverses overlapping and existing at the same time as each other because people hold different beliefs. Each person's mind and perspective and beliefs is molding a reality that they experience. So what I experience is different to what you experience, is different to what Steve down the lane experiences. But we can all interact, you can all be part of the same group thing to some degree, but our individual realities are all different, every single person. There is no objective, solid, unmovable, and rigid reality that you have to play by the rules of. Delete that idea from your head. We're given that belief at the start of our lives, and this is the way the world is, uh, you'll learn when you get older, mate, this is how it is, yada yada yada. Delete that. That is not a part of your experience, and I'll tell you why. Firstly, I want to ask you something. When was the last time you sat down and actually chose what you believe? Think about that for a second. When did you sit down and choose what you're going to believe about this life? Most people have never done it. Most people, they're not conscious of it. Hopefully you are. So not simply absorbed a belief from other people. You haven't inherited it down from your parents, which is where we get a lot of our beliefs or a lot of the programming from Uh, being a child. If you can't remember when you've chosen any of the beliefs that you hold, uh, that should concern you. Now, some beliefs we choose after viewing information from both sides and updating our working model of reality and then making a decision based on that. But then there are some beliefs that are inherent and core to the fabric of the reality view experience Well, you don't want to be logical. You don't want to analyze it and whatever. You simply will choose the beliefs that best serve you because that reflects back in what you experience. So you need to choose them consciously. And this is what this video is all about. The world that you think is real is a hand-me-down. Someone's given it to you. What most people call the real world is a pre-packaged operating system that they were installed with before we could really think critically. They were also unconscious that they received that downloaded software that they're trying to give on to you. From the moment we were born, we were being programmed by other people. That's just how it works. That's reality. Not in like a tinfoil conspiracy way, that this is objectively You get programmed with things just through a matter of participating in society and having relationships with other people. It's like a very mundane, observable, uh, observation. It's not anything crazy. We're programmed, and whether you believe that affects like just your psychology or just your psyche versus what I'm saying is what those beliefs affecting the very fabric of reality, that's observable whichever way you look at it. Your parents may have told you what's dangerous, what's appropriate, what's possible, what causes what, what will happen if you do this, what will not happen if you do that, etc., etc., etc. School told you what to value, how to measure yourself against others, what success looks like. It's doing good at school, right? That's what they want you to think. That's what they tell us. Culture tells you what to want. to a, to a degree. Now ideally you're a very headstrong person that brainwashing doesn't work on, of course, just like me. But these things still get through, and so we want to make sure that we're our own person. We choose the beliefs, we don't just accept them from other people. Your beliefs may coincide with some social things, but we need to get there consciously and analyze it and then make the best decision to think about it and believe something. None of this was really your choice, what they, what they gave to us. You didn't necessarily audit those beliefs. Ideally you did just naturally, but, um, you're a sponge, and whichever room you're in, you're young, you want to adapt, whatever you're— wherever you're born into, what social circles, etc., that becomes your reality. And it doesn't have to be that way. Someone raised in a monastery in Tibet has a completely different real world than someone raised in suburban America. Someone around entrepreneur family is going to experience a different version of reality than some people who's only been around salary workers. Uh, someone that's deeply spiritual is going to instill different beliefs into their children wherever they were born. The point being, there are so many different realities that can be shaped by the context of where we are. And there are some beliefs, truths, feelings that go beyond all of that. And that's like the true way, the one way, whichever way you come to God in your own manner, or these like common threads of philosophy about the nature of reality that you see in different religions. There are kind of universal truths when you get down to it, but a lot of the surface level stuff about what's possible, who you should be, what you can do with your life, how you should act, yada yada yada. They can— they're very, very fairly malleable. The real world that adults love to reference. Welcome to the real world, big guy. Your dreams have to die here in the real world. You know, that's how some people, some adults think. Oh, it's the real world. That means I have to be bloody miserable for decades. No thanks. I don't want to live in the real world. Then I'm not living in your real world. That is just the consensus hallucination of whatever group you happen to be born into, whatever culture. Plato talked about this thousands of years ago with the allegory of the cave. There are people facing a wall, watching these shadows on the wall, and they're thinking that the shadows are reality. They're all talking about the shadows. They're like, wow, did you see the shadows last night when, when they danced on the wall? They think that that is reality. When one of them breaks free, he gets out of the cave and he sees the shadows on the wall as completely different, as a fabrication to the real reality. He's gone outside, he's seen the sun, not just this little fire and the little figures. He's seen the whole world out there. And he comes back to tell the others, and they think he's insane. What are you talking about, mate? Outside? We're in a cave. You have lost your mind. What are you talking about? The shadows on the wall are the only things that we should concern ourselves with. That's what Plato's Allegory of the Cave is about. So the story is thousands of years old. And it's more relevant right now than ever, okay? I don't want you to be nihilistic hearing what I'm saying. It's not nothing matters. It's the opposite. It means that the walls you thought were solid in this box are actually made of paper, and you can just blast right through them, walk right through them calmly. Once you realize that they're actually just made of paper and you could just— oh, I can actually just get rid of that. It's light paper. I thought there was this huge steel brick wall that I could never ever get through, and actually it's just a bit of paper. So the point being, if the world is not this fixed thing which you may have thought of before, what is actually determining our experience? What's creating our world? Let's talk about the machine that's building your reality in real time. Your brain. Your brain is a filter, not a camera. Many people think that the brain is— because of the perception of how we are in our heads seeing things come through, we think, oh, I'm, I'm kind of like this little camera that's recording things to a hard drive that I see. But your brain isn't recording reality like that. It constructs like a highly edited personalized version that's of, of reality that's based on your beliefs, your focus, your emotional state, your energy. That is all the inputs going into the construction which we experience. So the eyes, the light that's coming in the eyes, they do contribute to our picture, but there's so much more going on than just this camera recording. It is what it is. So your conscious experience is really a tiny curated highlight reel of everything else that's going on. Your beliefs are one of the sub-editors that decide what makes the cut. What am I going to pay attention to? What are we going to keep in the story? Those beliefs impact that. So there's this idea of the reticular activating system, RAS. This is kind of the gatekeeper in your brainstem that decides what what gets through to your conscious awareness, it prioritizes wherever you've kind of told yourself that it really matters. If you buy a red car, you're thinking of red cars, suddenly red cars will pop up everywhere. Now, some people will say that they were always there, your filter just wasn't kind of turned to this experience or this part of it, and I think that that's partially true, but I also think that literally just thinking things creates something out there that wasn't there before because we've put ourselves on the frequency to get to that, or the same frequency as that thing. And you can choose that for red cars, you can choose that for positive experiences, for more opportunity in life. You can have these beliefs that wherever I go, I'm going to walk into opportunity and it's gonna be a great day and I'm gonna share love with everyone and I'm gonna experience magic. That's every day and you can choose to believe that. So if you apply that to beliefs, if you believe something like the economy is terrible and there's no opportunity, that's what the news loves to say every now and again. If you take that as true, oh, economy's bad. You know, your, your mind is gonna collect evidence of that all day long. Maybe you'll see more closed shops, negative headlines. Suddenly your friends are struggling or people you come into contact with. Meanwhile, there are opportunities flying past you constantly, but you're not even looking for them. You may not even believe they are possible, but they don't because they don't match the program that you've chosen to believe about this particular thing. Like, there are people doing business all the time, making millionaires, billionaires, like, at any point in any economy. That's a fact. Millionaires made in the Great Depression, etc., etc. But if you're gonna accept the belief that the economy is bad, you're not even gonna bother asking the guy at the bar about his business, and like, maybe that's a potential client. You can live in the same city as someone, same people, I mean, same city, two people, same neighborhood, same economic conditions at a macro level, and one's going to see abundance everywhere. He's going to experience that. And one sees scarcity and is going to experience that. So that's my point. There, there are two different multiverses that may interact a little bit. but they're not the same reality, even though they're physically in the kind of same area as other people with a totally different experience. Your beliefs become your perspective. Your perspective becomes the very reality that you experience. This is the operating mechanics of how human perception works. Most people have never consciously chosen their filter settings. They're just running on whatever got installed during childhood and reinforced during young adulthood or adulthood, and they're experiencing a reality that they never designed. They're just on autopilot. They're reacting. They're not broadcasting. They're simply taking, taking energy that keeps them distracted, keeps them away from analyzing, being conscious, and trying to consciously create something. Many people doing that. Most people are doing that, unfortunately. That's just the way of the world and how consciousness works. Most people are in that boxed reality based on the context of wherever they were born. They never question anything. They're so— so it's always done it, or how we've always done it. Group beliefs are curses disguised as common sense. Please think about that. Group beliefs are curses disguised as common sense. Commonly held beliefs, they spread. Social contagion effect. If you want to fit into the tribe, you want to be part of the group, You have to buy into the assumed group reality. They get repeated so often that they feel like facts. People accept them without evidence. Once accepted, they become a self-fulfilling prophecy. So it's like, yeah, it is kind of true if you think that it's true. This is how the world works. There's a category of beliefs that are particularly dangerous with group beliefs. Maybe some are positive, hopefully. But there are some that are dangerous because they're disguised as wisdom and knowledge, common sense, or, oh, I'm just being realistic. That's how they're packaged, but they're very insidious with how they affect your reality. So they sound things like this: it's hard to find a good job right now. It's nearly impossible to lose weight after you're 30 years old. Good men, good women, they just don't exist anymore. I'll never find anyone. You need money to make money. Can't have money unless someone gives it to you. It's too late to start. Why bother? It's never going to work. These are not objective, logical observations. They are curses, and the curses work because you believe in them, because your mind gives them power, because you are accepting it as true and not analyzing They just get passed around from person to person. Everyone's cursing each other. Bah bah bah. Someone says it, someone else agrees. It gets reinforced in the group and now it's just kind of true. It's not because anyone proved it or thought about maybe this isn't true 100% of the time, every single time, but because enough people repeated it and implemented it into their software, it's now a curse that is on them. Let's have a bit of my lion's mane from Aurum, get that mind focused in. I love this stuff, it's like a special wizard mental power-up. So here is how the curses work. Mechanically. You hear the belief, it enters your mental framework, you start noticing all the things that prove it's true because you're thinking about it, you stop seeing the counter evidence because you're focusing on one thing, the belief solidifies, and then usually you now spread it to someone else just by talking or in social situations. That is the life cycle of a limiting group belief, and it goes bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, affecting other people until there becomes someone who questions it, analyzes it, proves it wrong in their life, doesn't subscribe to it anymore. And these are the motivational people. These are the ones that usually have more control over their life. They're not as negative because someone ever— everyone says it can't be done. They're the someone that's like 'You know, I'm gonna do it anyway. I'm gonna— no, it actually, it can be done and I'm gonna do it.' And because those people are the ones that think it could be done, of course they're the ones that do it, you know. Imagine an entire nation, Sol Brah nation, where every single citizen thinks positively of the future And believes anything is possible, believes any business, uh, project is possible and will go well, and is all dedicated to maximizing the quality of life for everyone. Everyone believes each other can be creative. Everyone believes in magic. There's like a personal citizen beliefs manual that explains the reality of the world to everyone in that country, everyone in that tribe, everyone in that small town. Imagine the magic that would be created and how positive everyone would be. And imagine the energy when it's just everyone's feeding off each other. You can do it, this will be awesome, let's try this. And they understand that believing in negative realities is cursing themselves. Imagine how powerful that would be. Please try and do that with whoever you are, whoever you know, your friends. Just call each other out and be like Why can't we do that? Why is that not possible? Why wouldn't I succeed? Let's do it all together, positively. That's what I want to do. That's what I want to set up. That's what I do in my own life, and more people need to do it. Their life's only going to get better. So the people spreading these beliefs, you know, they're not evil, fairly unconscious, uh, but they're They're not trying to hold you back necessarily. Some probably are, but they genuinely believe what they're saying. Like, that is their reality for them. It's been collecting evidence of this for years, etc., etc. Misery doesn't only love company, but it needs company to survive, to perpetuate itself, to draw energy in. A limiting belief dies in isolation, you know. It needs other people to feed into the delusion, feed into the sadness, feed into the BS to perpetuate itself. And that's why you've got to stay away from negative people that are consistently negative and consistently reject positive thinking and consistently attract negative things. I'm sure you have seen a person or met a person that's always attracting these negative things, these issues, these problems, and, oh, woe is me, and, oh, this happened again. It's because they're constantly tuned in to the experience of negativity and of suffering and pain, and they just keep on using their mind and perpetuate that loop so they don't ever get out of it. What they need to do is stop, ignore what reality is showing with my eyes, consciously broadcast out, the next day is the best day of my life, everything's going to go right, everything I want I can achieve, everything I want I can access, and I can do. Whatever version of reality is like the highest version of myself. All that is possible, and I don't experience anything but the best. Just focus on that and ignore reality for a couple days. See how that goes. Tell me that does not make a difference in your life. But people get addicted to the stress, addicted to the negative beliefs, addicted to the fear, and, uh, it's, it's less scary for them because they've known it. And this is why they kind of perpetuate it. So a quick counter-evidence, uh, point to try to demolish those beliefs, uh, it's very simple actually. It almost feels too easy, but ask yourself, is there anyone anywhere right now who has the thing that this belief says is impossible? So some people have incredible careers that they love that are well paid Right now, right? Whatever economic circumstances there are, there's at least one guy with a job that he loves and is getting paid well, correct? Cool. Some people, uh, in their 40s, 50s, and 60s have incredible physiques. Yeah, there are some. Cool. Some people are in deeply fulfilling, loving relationships. Yeah, look around, there's, there's quite a bunch. That's it. That's all the evidence that you need. If one person has it, the possibility exists, okay? The door is open. The belief that was limiting you was never just this law of the universe, although there are some laws of the universe. This is not one of them. It's just a story that uninspired people kind of perpetuate and talk about and reinforce that they've all agreed upon. You don't even need people around you to prove this right. You don't need permission from your social circle. You don't actually need to see evidence like I mentioned to break these limiting self-beliefs. I just mentioned it for illustrative purpose because some of the beliefs are like, oh, 90% of businesses fail. Well, what's that? All the businesses which make up our society, they didn't fail. Look at them all. There's so many. What are you talking about? Most businesses fail. It's complete nonsense. And there's direct evidence if you can see it. So if there are things like that, then you can be like, well, that's silly. And then if someone still, still doesn't decide to get rid of that belief, even with the evidence in front of them— like I said, you don't need it, but some people need it— they see it and they go, no, yeah, but I couldn't do that. Like, some, some businesses work, of course, but not, not one that I would start or that you could start. Well, then you're like, okay, well, you're a negative person and you just decided to marry the negative, and I don't need to talk to you. That's pretty straightforward from me. What is true for others does not need to be true for you in anything, unless you want it, unless it's good. You know, you can have sharing overlapping perspectives, but most in mainstream society are garbage, and there's a reason that we've been injected with all these false beliefs. She's like, oh, they're lying about this, oh, they're lying about this, oh, they were lying about that, blah blah blah. It's, it's this enormous construct of lies across every capacity. It, that it's, it's, it's astounding. It really is. And you've got to break that down and it crumbles. It's not like this whole thing, but you just realize there are so many that we've been given. So stop treating the group narrative as your personal reality. Now, what happens when there's entire industries, multi-billion dollar machines whose entire business model is pumping out limiting fear-based beliefs into your head every single day? What, what kind of reality would that be? That would be crazy. Well, that is the reality that we're in, actually. So the societal box— what are the rules that you never agreed to? Beyond the informal group beliefs, uh, there's, uh, this entire social architecture designed to keep people inside predictable manageable, controllable boxes of life. The school, the career paths, the milestones. These are scripts that have been handed out already. They're pretty much planned, you know. The standard life script that we're kind of handed in our age is you go to school, you get good grades, you learn what they tell you in school, then you maybe go to university, get a degree, get a job, climb the ladder, buy a house, retire at 65, enjoy the last years of your life kicking back on the couch. And that was the, the script given to maybe not the youngest generation, but, uh, millennials. That was what was given. And who wrote this? Who, who decided to sign off on this? Did I sign off on it? But it's kind of just the thing that you do, the thing that everyone does. But you don't have to participate in it. It may be uncomfortable not to anticipate it and your parents and friends be like, what are you doing? You're getting out of the system. Ah. And there, the negative energy is feeding off of them, wants to drag you out of trying to— no, don't, don't do something different. But the education system was literally designed during the Industrial Revolution to produce compliant factory workers. Ring the bell. Go here at this bell. Come on, little piggy. Little piggy running around after bells. Sit down in the classroom. Oh, don't speak. Learn about the global system. So, you know, don't question authority, memorize and repeat. This is what school taught us. And the content you learn, right, is a very specifically chosen subset of information. Look at the company Uh, of a certain Schmeppstein's, uh, girl. Her dad owns a lot of college textbooks. That's all I'll say. That's a fact. So what does that mean? The information is chosen to get you to think certain things, believe certain models, achieve approval for being a good little boy believing this propaganda that makes it easier to control. It teaches you what to think, not how to think. Not like the classical ideas of Rome, of ancient Greece, where you were taught how to think from first principles. That is a real school, and we're going to bring that back, by the way. I'll make that promise. Sol Brah Youth College, teaching philosophy and fighting. So society that we're in, it rewards conformity to a degree. It punishes things that deviate from the script. This is why when you, you know, try to explain to your family that you want to be an artist, travel the world differently, start a business that doesn't make sense to them, or just take some unconventional path that steps out of the pre-programmed script that what they're used to. And you'll see, you'll watch the resistance. You'll get comments, you'll get trying to drag you back down. You shouldn't do that, da da da. It's not that they don't love you, although some unfortunately don't love you. It's just that this deviation that you're trying to introduce into the field of reality, that threatens the programming of their reality. And there's an instant knee-jerk reaction. Oh, I haven't even considered that. Ah, it's not possible. Blah blah blah. They short circuit. Now ideally, we love our family, they supported everything that you do and whatever. I'm just saying there's a general pattern that even people that love and support you, if their programming is different to what you want to do, you're going to run into resistance. That's just the truth of it. Be realistic. The most common phrase to kill a dream. Why do you want to do that? Like, be realistic. You can't actually have success in life. I know, I, I don't want to be realistic then. If being realistic means I can't get what I want and I've got to do things that are boring to me, or simply participate in a slave society and lie to myself and lie to others, and that's being realistic— no, I will not participate in a realistic society then? Notice who says it. It's never people who have achieved things in their life, successful, done groundbreaking things, created amazing companies, produced great art. They're never the people that say be realistic. The people that say be real— be realistic are the people that aren't living an extraordinary life. And because they have believed in the curse of, well, I should just be realistic. They never shot for the stars. They never tried to reach for the extraordinary. And if you never reach, then you won't bring it into your reality to experience. So they've cursed themselves, and you cannot listen to these curses if you want to live a, a better life, that is, which I'm sure most of you do. The boxes are everywhere. Career boxes, relationship boxes, like the box that people put you in. You can't get outside the box. You're too young for that. You're too old for that. Identity boxes. They're all made up, every single one. There is no cosmic law that says you have to follow any particular path and that only this path is possible. In fact, your path is going to be vastly different if you're actually being true to your soul and to your intuition, vastly different from everyone around you. And the experiences that you're going to have are unique in your perspective. So ignore those boxes. The people who change the world, who build incredible things, just have positive, happy lives, are the ability to look at this box if they didn't like it and it was producing bad results in their life Then they just say, no, I'm not— what box? I don't see a box. I'm going to do whatever I want. They're not asking permission for everyone agree with them. They just stepped out and did what they wanted, unburdened of all this BS. So the news media Fear Factory. Just enjoying some raw milk here. Mainstream news media. This is all very important, right? What is the news actually, and how does it affect us? It's a fear factory. The mainstream news media is not an information service. That is the belief that we're raised with. Oh, the news is actually just reporting on what's happening in the world so we can be good little citizens and know that something over the other side of the world is happening and they're the good guys and they're the bad guys and whatever else is happening, that is, that is real. This is all just journalists out there looking at things, taking pictures and writing a story about what happened. That is not what it is. It's an attention harvesting machine that runs on fear, outrage, a vision, engaging with it and viewing the news every day and taking it at face value and emotionally reacting to that is voluntarily poisoning your own filter of life. So let's talk about what the news actually is, not what it claims to be, but what it functionally does. So their business model, capture attention, sell that attention to advertisers. What captures your attention most effectively? Fear. Outrage, conflict, division. What lowers your vibrational energy the most? Fear, outrage, conflict. Like all these things that are put out by the media. The business model is one thing, right? But the new system is specifically designed to be more than just a business. It's designed to obfuscate you, to blasts you with useless information that messes up your energy day after day on things that are mostly made-up nonsense to distract and disempower you. It is not real. It's all fairy dust. Seriously. We see this from time to time with a big headline, and then it comes out later, oh, actually, we made that up. How many times has that happened? All of the time, you know. So it's like, why are you then watching it today and thinking, well, this is actually the truth? No, it's not how it works. It's made up. Think about the last time that you watched the news, you felt empowered, inspired, or equipped to go live a better life. Never. Can you remember one time, a single time, there was like positive news for an hour and then I feel great, cool, and now I know what's going on in the world? Hahaha. No, it messes up your energy every single time, and that's all by design. Here's what's happening physiologically when you consume this fear-based media. You feel your amygdala activates. Cortisol floods your system. You're getting a fight or flight state. You've just read about this horrific bombing the other side of the world. Oh, so many people dead. Here's the pictures and videos of it happening. Whoa, your brain's processing that. That's— the stressful is a battle, you know, like your prefrontal cortex, the part that handles rational thinking, creativity, long-term planning, and things like that, that gets suppressed. That doesn't matter right now. You're in the fight or flight. You're in the battle mode because of this possible threat that's, that's in front of you. So you're literally being made dumber and short-term thinking and anxious by the act of, oh, I'm staying informed, I'm a good little guy. You're constantly in this fight or flight, uh, where you're disconnected from divine energy. This is the other thing, it's very hard to get the downloads from God when you're constantly in this very upset state. I'm just gonna try and put this on here because it's getting hot. Hopefully this is good. Oops. The things that they're making you stressed about, you can't do anything about 99% of them, more, right? Geopolitical conflict that you have zero influence over, some economic indicator you can't change personally, some scandal involving people that you'll never meet, never saw, never know who you are. It's all noise. It's all noise. And while you're drowning in that noise, you're not thinking about your own life, you're not pursuing your own goals, your own growth, you're not going inwards. Now people will push back and say, but you need to stay informed, it's your civic duty, you're not a good person if you don't read the news. Informed about what exactly? Because there is a massive difference between understanding how the world works and letting a profit-driven outrage machine dictate your emotional state every day. That's not being informed. You can be informed and not let the, the fear programming affect you. You can be aware of the world without being consumed by it, without having all of your attention and energy drawn to it. You can understand major events without doom scrolling for 2 hours a day. Even then, major events, short of a country invading you or something, a lot of the stuff that we read about is, like I said, made-up BS from the wrong perspective, not what happened. And all these major events, or just complete psyops— and yes, something may have happened, but they themselves, it's not this organic event that happened because people and the different factions and things— it was because they've expressly set this up so they could put it in the news stories to push a certain agenda. That happens a lot of the time, if not all, for these huge events. And then they're like, oh, we've got some great laws that we can actually help with that issue that we created. This is how it is. So the question is, does your information consumption serve your life? Or does it drain it? Most people walking around anxious and defeated right now, they're not responding to things that actually happen to them or in their immediate surroundings, like, whoa, I've got to react to that thing, it's nearby, or something happens specifically to me in my life. Most people are responding to stories these days on screens, pixels on screens, right? Pixels arranged in patterns that trigger an emotional response in you. You see that and you're looking into this. Like, imagine your phone is off, nothing on the screen. What is the reaction of some people when they see or hear about, read about some happening the other side of the world? Oh God, I can't believe they're doing this. Oh, ah, picture what that guy looks like if the phone's off. He's in a room by himself, just looking at an empty blank screen. And then he has this huge emotional reaction. That's pretty much what is happening. But because the pixels are there tricking him at this, something that's happened the other side of the world, he now has an upset emotional reaction. His mind's controlled. He lost his focus. Because of that. That's what's actually happening. The toughest, most resilient people in history, right? They've achieved so much. They faced actual existential threats, a war. They kept moving forward with fire in their eyes, right? Now people are simply immobilized, or they have their minds completely twisted because a news anchor made a concerned face. While reading a pre-written script. It's mind control. The contrast between real life and what's happening with the news is comical. Okay, so the world you've been sold isn't real. It's a filtered, constructed narrative reinforced by group beliefs, social structures, and a media machine running on fear. Now, this is where it gets really good. If none of that is objectively real, then what is? So the world is not real. This is the best news that you could have heard. Reality is largely a construct. That's not a crisis, right? It's the ultimate liberation. If the cage was always imaginary, you're always free. You are free now. Most people may hear the world isn't real and, oh, their stomach drops. Maybe they get into nihilism. It's destabilizing. They may doom because of it. But that's only if you're attached, deeply attached to the old version of the world that is now shattered. If the old version wasn't working for you, if it was making you feel anxious, limited, small, like something was wrong, then the collapse of that is the best thing that can happen. Think about it. If your reality is genuinely shaped by your beliefs and your focus, that means you're not a passive victim of circumstance. Like, you're not just blowing with the wind and things happen to me and then that's life and you can't get out of that. That's how some people believe. If it's not that, you're an active participant in creating your experience. That is powerful. It's a terrifying power for a lot of people. Because they need to take responsibility then. But it is power. Some people, as I said, are addicted to the outrage. They're addicted to the stressed state, the negativity, to the limiting beliefs that feel so cozy to them. If you never reach to aspire for more, then there's no risk of failure, even though failure doesn't exist. Outside of a perspective. And this is one of the— oh, what if I fail? If I fail, that's the end of the world. What's a failure? Is a failure like in a video game where you fail a level and then you have to go back to the start, you lose your life? No, a failure is like— I mean, even if you have to go back and try again like in the video game, that's fine also. You get another go. That's a positive perspective. But if you're— if the, the fear of an imaginary failure is keeping you from actually just achieving things or trying to achieve things, know that, that fear is, is BS. I'm sorry, failure is BS. It doesn't actually exist apart from a perspective. I've failed, but you can try again. So have you really failed? No such thing. You learn. Either win, you achieve what you set out to do, or you learn. That's all perspective and life experience, and that's a win for me. Everything is a win. Literally everything that happens to you, you think that it's bad because you have these prior beliefs about why it's bad. I crashed my car. Oh, that's a bad thing. Is it? Because what if there's a reality that I crash my car and then at the mechanic I bump into a girl and that girl ends up being my girlfriend or wife? You don't know what life is going to throw at you and put you in, or what path it's going to throw you down. So it's like judging one tiny little blip in that entire path as like a bad thing when you don't know the, the effects it could have on you. It's foolish if you believe it's a bad thing. You're really pissed off that the car crash and this guy was driving like, blah blah blah, oh no, it's ruined my day. Now I'm gonna walk around with a big cloud over my head. And, and then, you know, someone else senses your negative energy and the hobo tries to steal your wallet because you're like walking around all whatever. You attract— you begin to attract more experiences of that nature and of that frequency and that energy. So really, the belief that everything happens for a reason is one of these really great meta-beliefs that permeate everything. You don't know why something, quote, bad has happened to you because you don't know what could come from it. And having that positive mentality, no matter what happens in life, is just a completely different experience to these limiting beliefs that we may have had before. So that world of believing things that limit you and affect you negatively and getting your mind caught up with all of these mental fabrications. Uh, the Buddhists call it Maya, the illusion, the illusion of life. The Stoics said something similar. It's not events that disturb us, but our judgments about events. What does that mean? Something happens outside. We have an attachment to that. That's good. That's bad. Based on the events happening outside of us, the mind is then perceiving it and attaching a judgment, and then that judgment is going to make me go woo, or it's going to make me go, oh. But what if you just see everything as it comes in as a blessing, as a bonus, as a positive belief? Then you're going to go, yeah, scratch my car, might meet my wife in the waiting room. You know, that guy's gonna win a life. That guy's going to have a better experience of life. Modern neuroscience says that your brain is running a predictive simulation and then calling it reality. Like, it's, it's kind of different perspectives of the same truth. What you experience out there is inseparable from what's happening inside of you, and they have effects on one another. The Matrix metaphor, right? It resonates with so many people because on some gut level everyone feels it. Like, if you've escaped the Matrix, then what that means is you've escaped all these limited programmed beliefs that control people. The Matrix reality where things are hard, you can't have freedom, you won't earn money, uh, you can't have positive experiences, you got to be realistic. That is the matrix, and that's what most people are stuck in. Something about that life and how it's presented to us feels off. The script, it feels forced. Like, what are these fake react interactions I'm having with people? Why are you so fake? Like, what? Anyone that's kind of somewhat aware has had these thoughts about reality, these rules that may feel arbitrary. They're not logical, and that's because they aren't. They're not logical, and they're just kind of made up. They're not natural laws of reality. They're just human agreements that have kind of calcified into traditions. That's, that's, it just became, that's just the way things are, that's what I've always done, that's what I believe, etc., etc. So why is this good? Like, why is this a good thing that this matrix exists and the world's not real. What— how could that be a good thing? Because life is actually beautiful when you stop consuming the fear, you stop absorbing other people's limitations, you stop running on this program that you didn't write and you didn't agree to. What's underneath that, what you have the capacity to create, is extraordinary. The potential for wonder, for love, for creative expression, for success on your own terms, for deep meaningful connection, all of that still exists. All of that is still real. It didn't go anywhere. It's, it's just been buried under these layers of noise and false beliefs and inherited limitations. All that's still possible. All of it. You don't need any beliefs which say otherwise. But you have to believe it's accessible to you before the filter will let you see the doors to go into to have that reality be experienced. That's the catch of this whole thing, but it's also the key through the door. This— the, the way that this reality responds to our minds can be your cage or the thing that frees you. It's the underlying concept that we have to understand in order to utilize it correctly. The Jolly Maxxed philosophy. This is the optimal way to move through life is with deliberate, almost unreasonable positivity and energy. Not as this delusion, but as a conscious strategic choice about which filter to put into my brain to then run. The Jolly Maxxed archetype. He's the person who, whatever is happening in the life, in the chaos of life that is around, they're always smiling. The ones that'll turn up to the front lines of the war with a battle axe and he'll laugh as he goes into the fray. They're not unaware of danger, but because they've chosen a relationship with life that most people can't comprehend, They've decided that their internal state is not for sale, not to circumstances, not to the media, not to other people. They are choosing the reality that they want to inhabit, and therefore the reality that they emit. It's a very powerful, high-agency, high-testosterone way you're taking control of life. It's, it's a spiritually brave thing to create your own world instead of just accept the BS world that exists, the slave world. So to venture forth and to go on the journey, that's what this is about. And okay, I'm going to take life into my own hands and I'm going to do something different and I'm going to be responsible for it and I'm going to take the step beyond the outskirts of the town that no one has ever left before. It's scary out there. 'Come back, come back in the warm, by the warm fire.' No, I've got to go out and I've got to hunt the bear. And I'll come back with a bear pelt and everyone will be like, 'Mate, I didn't know you could do that.' Yeah, you can. Compare that essence to the default modern archetype, someone who's been given so many limiting negative beliefs. Very negative person, so many curses that has entrapped their soul. They're exhausted all the time before they're even out of bed. They're, they're not brimming with energy. Like, all these curses lower your vibration. At the end of the day, all of these things lower your vibration, lower the level, level of energy that you're accessible— that is accessible to you. They've been told the economy is bad, relationships are doomed, the The planet's dying, everything's getting worse, and they've just accepted it all. They're defeated. The defeated people. It's the same world, same opportunities, same synchronicities, same coincidences available to everyone, but you have completely opposite experiences of a million billion different flavors, right? But a person in a powerful state will see solutions. It's, it's the most important variable in any situation. So you're going to see solutions, you're going to attract opportunities, you're going to recover from setbacks because you don't view them as setbacks. It's just the next thing, the next stage, and it inspires others. How often have you been in a situation where it seems like a negative thing, but then someone is like, that doesn't matter, let's keep going? It inspires people. A good leader will do things like that to motivate, to energize, to give a speech. It's possible, lads, we can do it. We can take over the city in this war or whatever it is. And everyone's like, yeah, so we could do it. Whereas before they were negative. What's happened there? The leader has transmitted the energy that their receiving from their beliefs of like, no, actually we can do this, we can achieve this, we can achieve greatness. And they'll go into that and feel that, and they'll just give that to other people. And then the whole, the whole group, all the boys are going and charging, they win the battle. It's a function of your energy, which is a function of your perspective and your beliefs. Your state is the most important variable in any situation. The state comes first and the reality follows. So we have to choose to inhabit a state consciously with high energy if we want the best reality to reflect back to us. So here's the practical toolkit. We're going to rewrite our operating system, if you will. Here's some actionable steps so you can actually like do something about this whole topic, not just like agree with it, right? The belief audit. This is step 1. Grab a notebook, write down what you believe to be true about the major areas of your life: money, health, relationships, career, your own potential. Don't censor it, don't try to look cool about what beliefs you have, like What are generally the beliefs that you hold day to day? Just write them down. Like, what do I think about women? What do I think about money? What do I think about my potential, my spiritual beliefs? Like, what do I actually think about the world? Do I think that this is possible? Do I think there are limitations? Yada yada yada. Get it all out. Now go through each one and just ask yourself two questions about it. Did I choose this belief or did I absorb it? Was it given to me? So consider that with each belief. Then ask, does this belief serve me or limit me? Anything that you've absorbed that limits you, that's not yours, that you haven't consciously chosen, you're just carrying someone else's baggage, right? And you can put it down. That's not gonna limit me anymore. That's— I'm not going to live my life by a belief that someone else gave me that I don't agree with, that I don't want to be a part of my reality. Get rid of it. Step 2: the counter-evidence for any limiting belief that you really strongly identified. Maybe some you can be like, oh, that seems a bit silly, I'll just get rid of that. But some, some are quite strong. The counter-evidence for that: find one real example of someone who proves it wrong. It'll be very easy. You'll probably think of someone. One person with a career that you want, the physique you want, the relationship you want, the freedom that you want, whatever it is you want more out of life. Yeah, someone has that. It's not comparing yourself to them, you're just using them as a proof of concept. If it exists for one human, the possibility is real, the door is open. Well, okay, then it can also be me. Your belief that that door is closed was the the only thing keeping it shut. And like I said, you don't even need this evidence, but it can help if you can quickly bring to mind some evidence. Like, even online you can see pretty much anyone doing anything that you want, you know, traveling and writing and making a living from that, making videos about this, woodworking. Um, people from all walks of life are doing many things with the power of the internet, which is incredible. So there really isn't a reality that you can't have access to. Step 3, the input purge. It's very important. Full audit of what you're consuming daily. News, social media, podcasts, music, Conversations, all of it. So the news, are you reading news headlines every single day? Is it just BS that you can shoot out? Yes, the answer is yes. I'm gonna ask that question for you. You can just tune it out, it doesn't matter. Social media, who do you follow? Are they inspiring? Are they permeating your perception of reality with positive things, with the version of reality that you want? Uh, is it just slop? Get rid of that. That's just jumbling up your mind as well. Uh, podcasts— who are you listening to? Do they believe that things are possible? They're yapping about BS. Music— every— all the information and words and everything that you hear is subtly programming. Not even subtly, it's programming your mind, right? If you are listening to music which is like, I just wanna die, it's very sad, right, then your mind is just intaking that and it becomes negative. Like, I know people who have listened to some of those terribly negative SoundCloud rappers who are very, you know, negative and killing, whatever. It's, it's horrible. And you're just inputting that information, that energy. Oh, it's cool and swag, bro. No, it's not. It's pathetic. It's not good music, and it's bringing your mindset down and inputting your subconscious mind with things that you don't want. So get rid of it. Conversations— is there anyone that if you talk to them, they're always negative? They're always like complaining about something, always telling you news headlines? Don't care. Don't want to hear it, you know. Oh, but did you see what— nope. I didn't, and I don't want to hear about it from you because I have successfully avoided it, you know? So audit. Ask yourself, does this source consistently make me feel empowered, creative, capable? These are good things. Or does it make me feel anxious, cynical, small, just upset, cut ruthlessly? Mute, unfollow, block, unsubscribe, not to me. You are not obligated to consume anything. Your attention is the most valuable resource you have. So treat your attention like it is the most valuable thing that you own, because it is. Replace the noise with material that actually expands you. Good books, positive podcasts, conversations, videos like this, you know. Content from people who have the life, the mindset that you want to build. Rebuild your perspective by saturating it with good things instead of all the trash you had before. This can feel weird, you know, but, uh, that's okay. Step 4: Language pre— reprogramming. Start paying attention to how you talk, both out loud and in your internal monologue. So language is not just words, it's reality programming. Every time that you say or think, 'I can't,' 'It's impossible,' 'That's just how it is,' all those things are reinforcing the old operating system. So shift your language to Speaking that the way that keeps doors open and reinforces the positive reality. I can do this. That's easy to do. Everything's going to work out. Anything is possible. We're going to have a great time no matter what. We will win. How good do you feel just listening to that rather than, oh, I don't know about it. I'm not going to go into that, the negative ones, because I don't care anymore, but That's how you need to talk. Step 5, environmental upgrade. Your nervous system is going to mirror the people around you, the content you're consuming. So if your circle is full of people who have accepted limitations, they complain conscious, uh, constantly, they're resisting growth, you will absorb that no matter how strong your mindset is. It's not a question of willpower. I understand a lot of you have strong willpower and you've done great things. If you're constantly around losers, that'll soak into you. So it's just a biological group reinforcement that's going to happen. So you don't have to cut people off, although maybe you will have to. At the very least, you have to get away from spending lots of time with negative people. And a lot of the time this means isolating. Especially if you haven't met other positive people who are doing things that you want to do in life yet. You then also should actively seek out people who are living proof that a bigger life is possible, a better life is possible. Online communities help with this, mentors, events, new social circles. This proximity to possibility really shifts a lot of things if you can see that right in front of you more often. Now, at the same time, there's a Carl Jung quote, and it goes something like, 'If you do your work in private, unknown friends will seek you out.' And the idea being, you work on yourself, you improve your energy, and you pursue what it is that your soul wants you to pursue you're gonna end up bumping into people that are of that same resonance and frequency. And this has happened so much in my life, and I've met so many cool people because I first spent years working on myself and creating and doing my own thing to the point where you're on a different energetic wavelength. And it can happen very quickly, you know. These days, overnight viral video puts you in a position where you can work for yourself now. Like, that's possible. The only reason that it couldn't happen to you is because you believe, well, someone else can have a viral video and change their life overnight, but not me. No, no, that's for other random people. Then it's like, okay, well then you won't experience it. So you see what I'm getting at here. Let me tie this all together. Because I want you to leave with the big picture, okay? You were always free. You were always free. You were born into a world that handed you pre-written script beliefs. Your brain built a reality around that script using, you know, confirmation bias. The group beliefs reinforced it. Social structures rewarded you for staying inside the box, inside the lines. And then this multi-billion dollar business machine, fear machine, keeps you in this lowest state of fear perpetually, so you never have the clarity or the energy to question it and break out. That's the world we're born into. It's not a conspiracy, that's just the reality. The easy path of least resistance most people walk it their whole lives without realizing that there's something else that they could be doing. That they're, oh, that path actually looks good down there. I'm gonna go try it. And then you get yanked back onto the main path again. No, no, we don't go down there, bucko. That, that's reality. But you're watching this video, which means something in you is already pushing back, already aligned with the energy that is different, that is outside that power matrix. Something within you knows that this script doesn't fit, that there is something different available, and there's like a quiet refusal to accept someone else's version of what's possible. That is the most important thing you have, or one of the most important qualities that you should cultivate within yourself. If you don't have it right now. The world is not real, at least in the sense that you were told. That's the greatest news you can ever receive, because it means that the limitations aren't real either. The ceilings aren't real. The rules about what you can and can't do, be, have— none of that's real. None of that is this limiting final law that is unbreakable. They were always just agreements, and you can opt out of any of those. So choose your reality. Your beliefs become your perspective. Your perspective becomes your reality. So choose your beliefs like your life depends on it, because it does. Stop accepting curses from people who've given up. Stop letting these pixels on a screen dictate your emotional state or your energy. And stop running on this operating system that you didn't install consciously. Life is beautiful. Life is full of possibilities, incredible possibilities, speaking from experience in the life that I lead, and what you see around you. But you'll only see that possibility when you stop looking through someone else's filter and you start building your own. The cage that we were in, that we may be in parts of our life, is never locked. You just had someone that said, 'Oh, this is locked, actually. You can't get out.' And you go, 'Okay.' Until one day you try to push open that door and it just swings open. Thank you for listening. If you enjoyed the video, like, subscribe, would appreciate that. Drop me a comment telling me about one group belief or limiting belief that you're officially going to reject today. I'm interested. Write down in the comments below. This is Sol Brah. I'll see you in another video.
