How To Be High Testosterone (Naturally)

Sol Brah outlines a lifestyle program for raising testosterone naturally through sunlight exposure, heavy resistance training, raw animal foods, early sleep, and semen retention. He argues blood tests aren't necessary if you feel the hormonal shift, and that aligning your environment with "wild" conditions drives optimization across mindset, nutrition, sleep, and chemical exposure.

Every man wants to be high testosterone, so here's how we can do it naturally and healthily. You probably won't be able to guess all of the things that I put in here. What is high testosterone? Well, it's when your body has a high concentration of the hormone that makes men. It's also in women as well, but primarily masculinized hormone. Some kinds of living will turn you into a healthy human, a man, uh, energy high, getting after your goals. You have a fighting urge, a sexual urge, you're strong and resilient. This is the sign of a healthy, hormonally healthy male. The opposite, of course, is the soy boy, a low testosterone individual. He's weak, effeminate. He's more willing to be a slave. Girls like him less. He's not respected as much. Can't grow a beard. He's got a little high voice like that. That is a low testosterone male, and I'm sure we know some of those. We do not want to be him, of course. What is my approach to increasing testosterone? I like to focus on lifestyle and natural nutrition because they are the biggest needle movers compared to just taking this one thing and then relying on it and not changing the rest of your life. Is there a need for a scientific blood test? Well, they can vary throughout the day so much depending on when you take your testosterone blood. It's not worth it unless you're being really super regimented, eating the same, doing the same, taking these blood tests at the same time so you have a comparison. Some people think that it's necessary. I I don't, I don't, because there's an innate feeling, right? Some people are arguing about whether DHT is the main masculinizing hormone that you should want to increase instead of focusing on testosterone. So I avoid that distinction by instead focusing on other things than the blood test readings where it's like, oh yeah, I'm, I'm 800 or so on so forth. The facts are that that most guys know when they feel their most high test or high DHT, they're most rilled up, they've got energy and they're just going, yeah, you know, that's high testosterone. That's what I focus on. So compare that to when you're feeling lower and you don't really care, or you're like upset about things, like that's low testosterone. So that relationship is what I like to focus on. I think it's It's more of a— you get more out of it. That is the variable to work with, in my opinion. So here are the questions to think about, which usually will give you an indication of how is my hormones— how are my hormones tracking right now? How do I feel? How much of a man do I feel? That grrr factor. How strong am I physically? How strong am I? What level of confidence do I have? Can I walk around into any room and feel good being there? And that's high testosterone. How much energy do I have? Am I completing everything throughout my day? Am I animated? Do I talk with people? Do I have energy to spare? How stable are my emotions? How is my calmness when things go wrong? Do I get angry at the drop of a hat? Those are things to also consider in terms of your hormonal profile. How's my sex drive? How's the quality of my erections during sex or just throughout the day, in the morning? These are all signifiers about your hormonal state? How is your recovery from exercise? Do you feel like you want to get back in the gym? You want to go exercise and go out and do things, or are you dragging yourself? You're not feeling strong, and so on and so forth. There are some more, but those are your basic factors that will give you a pretty good, pretty good view of your hormonal state at that point in time. So a principle The closer you get to living in alignment with nature, the higher your testosterone will be. I always like to talk about what happens to pink piggies when they get released into the wild. Domesticated pigs, when they escape into the wild, they become wild boars. It's the same animal, but this pink soft-skinned pig will grow much thicker skin, more hair, they'll grow big tusks, and Their, their skin color will change to deal with the elements and being outside, and they become this wild boar. They're much more anabolic, they're much more high test. It's the same animal, two different environments. And this is their body's response to their environment around them being wild. And that is a critical realization for someone that wants to improve their testosterone because, okay, if we Just model that on the human being in the wild, outdoors, in nature, walking around barefoot, eating raw meat, compared to the guy that's in a polyester office cubicle under blue lights, always ordering Uber Eats. Like, they're two environments, same guy. Which do you think is gonna have high testosterone? So that's something to think about. You will not reach your apex masculine hormonal status if you're sitting at home in mommy's soft living room drinking cups of tea, you know, and not challenging yourself and not going out there in the wild or doing whatever it is within the confines of your current life where you can push yourself and yeah, increase that high testosterone. Get to nature as much as possible is my point here. There is a balance. Chronically stressful environments will also not create the best hormonal profile. You need to live like the lion. You know, you get up and you hunt for your food, you're sprinting around, and then you relax in the sun with your lioness after. The lion's not running marathons all day. He's the apex, he's the highest testosterone animal in the wild. So that's the kind of lifestyle that you should look to try to shift to if you want to increase your testosterone in general. Additionally, the more that you can improve your health overall, the better your hormonal profile is going to be. As with any health situation, your belief and thoughts that are shaping your reality as well as your physical health— it's all related— they're the most important things. If you're constantly sending out negative vibrational energy, if you're perceiving yourself as a 'I'm a low test person,' you got a bad test result, or you just you've gotten into that negative thinking, then that is going to have an effect on your hormonal levels. That's going to have an effect on how your body performs, feels, and everything else. And you're not going to be able to reap the rewards that you could if you dispel those negative beliefs and got into all this other testosterone-raising situation. Belief can make or break health. You can literally make yourself sick with belief. So make sure you incorporate that into developing your hormones in this whole approach. The optimal approach is then to intentionally create this belief of, I am a high testosterone male. I am a high testosterone male. And you can feel your testosterone rising as you claim it, you know. Say it to yourself before bed, upon waking, when you're in the car. You can shout it out. I am a high testosterone king. There you go, easy as. My testosterone's already raised. It seems funny, but it'll soak into the subconscious, especially if you're— historically, that's not really been you. Okay, it's okay to just fake it till you make it. Has an effect. So firstly, on to the attitude and social situations that can affect your hormones. As we know, the mind creates all. Usually someone with high testosterone is going to naturally exhibit these behaviors. So if you have low testosterone, you're less naturally likely to be inclined to these, but it's kind of a chicken or the egg scenario with, with these hormones. If you begin to do things that high testosterone people do, If you raise your own sense of self with these actions, then your testosterone will increase, even if it was tricky and hard to begin with. Don't be a cuck. Do you stand up for yourself if you're disrespected? Do you allow yourself to be walked over, you know, by other people? I know this world isn't set up for confrontations, and you're not going to just assault anyone that disrespects you. That's not what I'm talking about. There are ways to be smart about it. If you have some level of social skills, is just, you know, confront the person in a chill way. Don't allow yourself to be that victim that gets disrespected because that will self-reinforce to yourself, what am I doing? I'm a loser. We don't want to do that. You don't want to do that in general. The advice then, if you're in a situation where people feel like they can walk all over you, just do whatever you can to get out of that situation. I know there's some jobs or social situations where like You can't have that consistently in your life and expect to be like optimally high testosterone. Do you do your own thing? Are you living your own life? Are you risking it on by yourself? Are you following a pre-panned life that someone else has chosen for you, or you think society needs of you? That in itself is like a really interesting dilemma, because I would say that most people feel trapped by the life that they're living or the lifestyle that they haven't had the courage to get out of. So you can imagine, and I felt that when that was the case for me, that playing over in your head is gonna lower your test. It's gonna lower everything. It's your self-belief, self-worth. It's all intimately related. Hormone is the chemical thing that we attach to these states of being. Whereas I think they're both one and the same in a lot of ways. Doing your own thing, living your own life, and being sure of that, even if— because if you're doing your own thing, you could be two guys in the same job. One guy really interested in that field, wants to push himself, wants to like, you know, fight competition to get there. The other guy's in it because he thinks he should be doing it, so he goes to work and blah blah blah. Which do you think is going to be the vehicle for them to be optimally hormonally healthy? The first guy, of course. This is his chosen arena that he wants to be in. So I think that that's an important thing to think about— doing your own thing. One guy sees it as his mission, one guy feels like he's a little bit trapped and hasn't had the courage to break out of that, and that's gonna be something that weighs on him. Freedom. Freedom is the ultimate high testosterone principle, I believe. Could you up and leave and just and do what you want? Like, are you a slave to an HR harpy in your office job? And I've been there, right? I luckily had nice coworkers, but I could practically feel my testosterone dropping by the second listening to the fat office worker lady next to me talk to us about her latest Uber Eats expedition, you know. No hate to that situation. It's just not somewhere that a young man can be and expect to be high testosterone and everything else. So freedom. Social status related to all of these things and others. Your social status, whether you're a winner or not, can literally affect your hormonal profile. So are you respected by your family, friends, work colleagues? Now, this is something that if you feel low test, then getting high test will enable you to progress and become better in all these things and ideally gain more respect, gain more social status. This is what, what it's all about. This is a long process as a man. So it's just something to consider. As with all these things, don't let— just because I'm mentioning it This is a wide spectrum of things to consider. Just because I'm mentioning it, if your situation isn't exactly perfect, perfect social status, perfect career freedom, whatever, don't let that then make you think, oh, I'm a low test male because that is not the point of this video. The point is just me to share things that I think if you're, you know, like if your diet's on point but you still feel like a slave at work, your testosterone is gonna be capped. That is my point. So lifestyle and activities. Lifting heavy, lifting in a sprint mentality. Obviously lifting heavy weights makes you more of a man physically. Muscle increases testosterone, your bones are stronger, you just feel better. And so that's going to have a carry-on positive effect as well. I work out on the higher end of time, 1.5 hours, uh, but I've worked up to that. You know, I'm slonking raw milk the whole time, so I can kind of handle that level of a workout. But I wouldn't recommend, like, being in the gym for 2 hours is not gonna make your testosterone higher than the sprint kind of methodology of getting in, working out for an hour, and then going to rest again. You know, think of the lion. Combat sports. There is nothing more manly than fighting another man. Think about it. What is more of a test about being a man than a battle, or the closest thing we have to battle today? To take up your shields or no other weapons apart from hands and feet and compete, fight to the death. Okay, we're not fighting to the death, but I highly, highly, highly recommend attending combat sports classes and doing sparring once you've gotten enough experience to spare with the other beginners. You can't really consider yourself a man if you've never been punched in the face, or if you've never punched someone in the face. And I'm not talking about just being in a random street fight that was over nothing, but in the context where you're competing and facing off against another man trying to punch him in the face, you know, that's— it's all— there's a real sense of masculinity to that experience. And obviously it makes sense. It's just a fundamentally different experience of life once you've gone through that. Competing against your brothers in order to sharpen that violent skill is pretty much the most masculine thing there is, in my opinion. So if you're a young guy or you've never done it and you're an older guy, it's gonna put you to the test if you go start fighting. I can promise you that. You see it in guys that come in Uh, they train for a few months, their neck gets thicker, their bone mass literally increases, their skull gets wider. Like, this is all hormonal. You're around other men fighting, competing. That is an environment change that, like I mentioned with the pigs and the wild boars, you throw a little office piggy human into a pit of wild boars wrestling and, and fighting, then that little piggy has to adapt. So get into something like that, particularly brutal team sports like rugby. If you're, if you're doing that, that, that kind of does serve that purpose. I'm sure some rugby matches or some football, it's, it's a lot more intense than I've done, but there's something extra about the combative piece of it where you're actually trying to hurt each other. It's an extra level. It's not just a sport. Still is, but you know, that's what I'm saying. Other lifestyle activities: ocean swims, natural river swims. These are just natural, pure, health-giving, relaxing activities out in nature, which is gonna boost your health and hormones if you do it consistently. Hiking in nature, fresh air as much as possible. Like I said, you boost your health, you boost your testosterone because your body has more health to give. And it's, it's more like getting out of your way, get rid of all the toxins, all of the unnatural stuff, and your testosterone will be able to be produced better. Foods is a big piece of the puzzle. These are the foods that I personally think serve to give the most bioavailable nutrients to boost testosterone. High testosterone does not like fasting. So eating consistently throughout the day in order to maximize your hormone production, decrease cortisol, boost testosterone as much as possible. This includes ideally getting up and waking up at 3 AM, having your milk next to you in bed. Have some raw milk or some other snack so that you can get those nutrients in through the night as well. Eat organic foods, of course, wherever, to maximize nutrients. And decrease toxins going into the body. So raw cream, raw milk, fermented milk, raw butter, raw meat, raw liver, raw testicle if you can get your hands on that. You know, like supports like. If you eat the organ of masculinity, bull testicle for example, you will be able to create more testosterone in yourself because you're supporting the gland that creates testosterone. Oysters, massive one. Don't take zinc supplements, don't take these garbage chemical approximations of minerals. Take the whole food example, which is oysters in this case. Raw honey, fresh fruit, just get those carbs in as well in those forms. All of those foods have cholesterol, which is super, super important for healthy hormones. Don't listen to the garbage Heart Association advice about needing low cholesterol. They're trying to make you into a soy boy by putting out that information. You need cholesterol to make hormones and a bunch of other things, and everyone that I've ever talked to about health or coached or whatever has felt better increasing the amount of raw cholesterol to boost testosterone in their diet. So that list of foods, you're eating that, then you're gonna have what you need to create testosterone. Yeah, you're also getting those minerals, which is another key for testosterone production. Other mineral sources that I take is a liquid natural magnesium distillate, which I'll be releasing soon through Aurum. I drink nettle tea, very, very high in minerals. So getting those in liquid form is really good as well. I think that fats are the most important for testosterone creation because, as I said, the fats, the cholesterol, that's the building blocks that go into the hormones themselves. Carbohydrates, you're getting enough from the milk, the fruit, the honey that you're not going to be needing too much more to maximize testosterone. Honestly, it's enough. The fats are the most important part, and you're eating raw meat, you're getting a lot of protein as well. Sleep. Sleep is where you recover, where you synthesize hormones. You should be going early to bed, so 9:30. You should be early to rise with the sun or just before the sunrise, naturally, without an alarm clock, as much as you can. Sunrise and sunset, you know, natural circadian rhythm is going to improve your sleep and therefore your testosterone production. For me, I do 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM, usually about when I wake up, which is just before sunrise. And that's with no alarm or anything else needed because I'm going to bed at 9:30 and I sleep throughout the night, and then your body awakes when it's done everything that it needs to do. I don't always wake up at 3:00 AM to eat, but if my body wakes up, then I will drink my milk throughout the night. If not, then I'll just leave it for the morning. In your bedroom, you want it to be cool, lots of fresh air, and then your bedding should be only wool, cotton, and linen. Wool pillow as well. Do not sleep in polyester and expect to be high testosterone if you're sleeping in garbage, endocrine-disrupting plastic all night and getting hot, and it's not breathing, skin's not detoxing properly. No, you, you need to have a proper natural environment to sleep in, and it feels so much cozier as well. Sunlight— get your morning sunlight, watch the sunset and try to get some high UV sunlight on as much of your naked body as possible. Obviously on the balls and willy, sunning your balls, as this is going to supercharge your scepter, your masculine point of force, and also the testosterone-producing equipment— your fellas, your balls. That's where this testosterone is made. So if you're getting sunlight on them it increases its ability to do that. Very simple. And I know guys that have mentioned that they first started sunning their balls and become— and felt more, way more high test doing that. So there you go. Sunlight, shirt off, wherever you can, as much as is possible. I forgot to mention with sleep, mouth taping. That was a big one for me. Anything you can do to increase sleep quality, we want to improve nasal breathing or increase the percentage of nasal breathing throughout the night. And if your mouth is taped, then you have no option but to nose breathe, which is, I feel much better when I sleep and doing that. Blue light, avoid artificial blue lights as much as possible. And that reminds me, put my Raw Optics Sol Frames on. So wear blue light blocking glasses. These are a little dirty. In the home, use red lights, infrared, dim lights, little lamps on the floor, beeswax candles. This is the light environment that you should have in the evening. Blasting strong artificial blue lights in the evening is going to impact your circadian rhythm, increase your cortisol, and not be the best environment to produce testosterone. That goes the same for if you're in the office or in the gym or just buildings in general in the middle of the day. You don't want to be under that blue light as much as possible. I know, like, I used to work in an office. It's not ideal, but this is how to— how to maximally increase testosterone. Ideally, you are not under artificial blue lights all day. Now you can say that you have to do that for now, which is fine, that's your thing to figure out, but it's not ideal for health in general, so it's not going to be ideal for testosterone. Caffeine and nicotine— any stimulant is going to put you in the sympathetic nervous system, which is more anxious, more uptight. There's less blood flow, less restoration, less rest and repair. So caffeine and nicotine, if you're smashing that every day and popping zins all the time and now your willy won't work, what do you think is happening to your testosterone? Vince Gironda, to his bodybuilders, he always said no nicotine 24 hours. Uh, no nicotine because for 24 hours after, your blood flow is reduced. If something is doing that to your body, then obviously that's not ideal for your testosterone production either. So I've used caffeine and nicotine. I'm not on either at the moment, uh, gonna have a longer break without— I mean, I don't use nicotine, but caffeine, I, I was using, I was having espresso relatively consistently, but felt called to get off that recently, and I feel a lot better, honestly, uh, just in terms of energy in general. And consistency and calmness. And I, I always tolerated it very well. However, I just kept on having this feeling, hey, just take a break of, of having any caffeine. So giving it a go, you know, like trying something different. And as I said, I was always having it very healthfully, only in the morning with lots of raw fats and etc., etc. Even still, it had an effect. If you're having caffeine in the afternoon disrupting your sleep, if you're having nicotine the second you wake up to the second you go to sleep, yeah, these are issues. I think that you can be intentional with your stimulant use. For example, the occasional espresso before smashing a beach lift and you're on holiday, that's pretty anabolic. A cigar puff on top of a mountain after you've just had a record-breaking financial day for yourself smash it, you know. I think there's moments where the context and the occasion creates this extra anabolic effect. Consistent daily use that is always stimulating your body, and then you're chemically dependent on it— that is not high-test behavior. That's not going to support high testosterone. So you have to make your own decisions about how you utilize stimulants in that regard. Porn and semen retention, right? Would a high testosterone male watch another man mate with a woman? No. So don't watch porn, basically. Would a high test male be jerking off and releasing his magical seed into a sock? No. Also no. Retain your semen, do not ejaculate, and you will literally feel your testosterone increasing. You can still make love and should to your woman doing this, but just control your ejaculation. That is the masculine essence which you can charge inside of you. And if you're looking to increase your testosterone, then try it out. I promise you it's one of the most impactful things you could possibly do. Possibly do for health, life, and everything else, and testosterone. Chemical products, sunscreen, bodily products for washing, shampoos, moisturizers— 99% of them are garbage containing endocrine disrupting chemicals, which means hormone disrupting chemicals, which means it can influence you to grow breast tissue as a man. You don't want that. We don't want that. That's not going to be beneficial to your testosterone, and it's very simple to just not use those kind of products. Me, I use my organic extra virgin olive oil soap, and that's it, and water. Cool, easy, it works. I'm not You know, moisturizing, I do olive oil or coconut oil, some other castor oil on my face sometimes. But they're all natural products. They don't have these endocrine disrupting chemicals. They're not petrochemicals. They're not made from fuel. So that is a big one. If you're slathering yourself in all these chemicals every day, washing your hair with it, and then you're spraying your perfume on, on your glands, and it's, it's all really soaking into your tissues, and it means your testosterone is going to be all thrown off, as well as other health issues. So that's even a separate point outside of the testosterone thing. Just like, stop using these chemicals, stop putting them in your body. You're gonna feel better, you look better, your skin's gonna be healthier and everything else. So avoid that if you want to boost testosterone. Kind of related, no medications. Obviously taking medications that we know now have all these harmful effects— antidepressants, anti-anxiety— where people going crazy, way worse side effects than, oh, I was just feeling a little down, here, take this, blah blah blah. Therefore it's going to impact your testosterone negatively as well. You know, we have hair loss medications where people are taking, I want to grow a bit more of my hair, and then their balls don't work. They have no sex drive. They have no energy to do anything. It's like, cool, nice one. They're specifically acting on the very essence of what makes you feel like a man. So I personally would never take any of these things. I would avoid them as much as possible if you want to maximize your testosterone. Same with chemical supplements, things that are chemically synthesized. They may have a label saying they're this thing or that thing. It's never 100% pure. And if you actually look into things like how is creatine made, what is it made from, it's not a nice natural thing. And your body therefore doesn't have the natural cofactors or enzymes that come with natural foods in order to process it. So all of these chemical things, I don't take any of them. I haven't for a long time now, and I feel the best I've ever felt, the strongest I've ever felt. And I don't think that these things are necessary or should be used for relying on testosterone production, and they just, they end up being toxic to your body, so that doesn't help. I mentioned this before about, uh, with the bedding, polyester. Don't sleep in polyester. Also don't wear it because again plastic-based endocrine disrupting chemicals used in production. Polyester itself— they did a study where they made dogs wear polyester underwear and then check their fertility levels after wearing them for a few weeks. The dogs literally became infertile because they had this tight, constrictive polyester underwear on their nuts, and they became infertile. So What does that tell you? I freeball, I allow lots of room, and I only wear cotton and linen. Wool— this is wool. Polyester, especially when you have friction, creates an electrostatic effect, which is like anti-grounding. It's like negative grounding. So we don't want that, especially near the testicles where testosterone is created. So don't wear polyester, throw it all out. We don't need it for testosterone. You will feel your most testosterone wearing loose flowing linen after a huge workout in the sun, no stimulants, just pumped up, just, ah, thrilled, you know. Plastic, you should know this one, but don't use plastic water bottles, don't use your plastic gym shaker with your protein schlopper in your home. Avoid eating with plastic, avoid cooking on it, eating off it. Plastic chopping boards— you're eating microplastic little flakes every time you chop something on there. Uh, plastic, obviously, again, endocrine disrupting chemicals, is going to nuke your testosterone. Not nuke it, but it's affecting it. So we want to make sure that we're covering all of our bases if our goal is to maximize health. Maximize testosterone. So if you're doing all that, you're gonna be pretty good. You will have pretty high testosterone and healthy hormones and a healthy body, because that is the goal after all. The more you stick with it, more consistent you are, the better results you will find as well. Thank you for listening. I hope you've become higher testosterone already, and I will see you in the next video.
