Natural Morning Routine for Health and Energy

In this solo YouTube monologue, Sol Brah walks viewers through his detailed morning ritual designed to maximize health, energy, and longevity. He begins by waking in a wool‑lined bed, immediately exposing himself to direct sunlight through sungazing while practicing gratitude and breathwork. He then drinks a freshly blended celery‑apple‑kiwi juice, citing its alkalinizing and mineralizing properties. A 10‑minute lymphatic activation sequence follows, featuring jumping, “Zen swing” arm‑body movements, twisting, and body‑slapping to stimulate lymph flow and clear mucus. Afterward he grounds himself barefoot, harvests fresh aloe vera for topical skin care and gut health, and moves to a dedicated workout area with rubber mats, a boxing bag, pull‑up rig, neck harness, dumbbells, and resistance bands. He performs neck‑strengthening holds, pull‑ups, spinal rolls, and full‑body mobility drills to improve posture and prepare the musculoskeletal system for the day. Nutrition continues with raw eggs, a large serving of raw milk with honey, and later a freshly cooked ground‑beef meal to supply amino acids early in the day. He concludes with a bath—normally hot with magnesium chloride flakes, but cold in this episode—explaining its role in opening sweat glands, enhancing lymphatic circulation, and delivering mineral benefits. Throughout, Sol emphasizes the importance of consistency, short‑time commitment (≈10 minutes for movement), and listening to hunger cues as markers of health. The video ends with a brief recap and invitation to follow future content.

Grand rising, soldiers! Just woke up and I figured I would show you my morning routine. So we literally just got out of bed here. Obviously I'm sleeping in linen, my wool shawl, 100% wool pillows. I've got my milk ready to go there, uh, for midnight snacks. And that's what I sleep in. So I wake up and I'm very blessed to get this direct sunlight. Right into my room. So I'll usually just sit here, look at the sun directly with sungazing, and that's what I do very first thing. Before I get into my sungazing, I'll go into the bathroom and I'll set up my bath. Bath is loading with beautiful hot water. Well, should be hot. It's not very hot actually. Sun comes through there, but this is what I'll do after I've done my other stuff. Here we have celery juice. This one is celery, apple, and kiwi. Throughout the night, your body becomes quite acidic. And Oginis von der Planitz recommends celery juice, fresh vegetable juice, upon waking to realkalinize and mineralize the body. And it's, it's so tasty. There's a lot of naturally occurring sodium in celery juice, so if you're doing salt in your water, this is also a similar option to remineralize and hydrate. It's a bit tastier than just plain water. So the sun gazing begins. And yes, I am looking directly at the sun. Of course, usually I would be doing this naked, but we can't do that on the family-friendly platform of YouTube, and you guys don't want to see that anyway. So the first 10-15 minutes of the day, I'm sun gazing, preparing my mind for the day. I'm emptying it. I'm practicing gratitude. I'm thinking about what I want to achieve for the day, doing breathwork. And when I've done enough of that, I feel like, then I get into some lymphatic movement, which I'll show you next. Ah! So what do we actually want to do with a morning routine? We want to prepare our bodies for the day. That means getting nutrition in, and that means waking up the system. Because you've been horizontal sleeping all night. Obviously, when you do that, the body is not as loose and flowing as it is after movement, particularly the lymphatic system, which a lot of stuff has been going on during sleep to detoxify. So your lymphatic system is usually built up with stuff, so you want to shake everything loose, and we do that through movement. And you can do it quite intuitively. There are certain lymph nodes in the body that you can massage up here, all throughout the chest, under the arms, in the neck, jaw, behind the ears. There's a lot of movements you can do to also stimulate them. So as I said, you can do it quite intuitively if you just shake. So the first being like this, literally just jumping up and down. And this is why running is, is good for you, because you're getting— if you're on a run, you're going this, this, this, this. So you're getting— but you can just do it on place like this and hopping, letting gravity shift everything down and around. So you'll do this, obviously the more the better. Most people, they'll slug from their bed to the kitchen to get it coffee in straight away, but when this will activate you and wake you up more than doing that. Have everything loose so your arms hang, getting a nice through the chest. Add some active breathing as well. So at least 1 minute straight of that. This is the Zen Swing. Basically, you can take any, any plane of movement. There's side to side, swing your arms. There's up and downs, and there's twisting the trunk. And there's more of a full body, the body wave, and getting your spine moving this way, forward and back. We've done side to side, now we're doing forward and back. So get some collection of all those different things. Jumping up and down with the twist as well. That's a really nice one that I like. You may notice that you're clearing mucus after doing stuff like this, and that's a good sign. Get out of the body, things are moving. So you get your idea, the idea, your lymphatic system is what clears waste that can be a bit gummed up after sleeping. And by doing all these different things, you can activate the body and get it ready and cleared out. I also like slapping, stimulate qi energy. Do this everywhere. Wake everything up, stimulate blood flow to that particular area. You've heard me talk about ball slapping. That's also a thing. Take it easy, work up to it, but it really stimulates you once you get it going. All of this, you know, it's 10 minutes. Can you take 10 minutes out of your day to focus on activating and cleansing everything so that you can have a great day for the whole day? Yes, you can. A lot of people think they're too busy. No, 10 minutes, that's all you need. Focus on it and you'll be set up for it. So we've done the lymphatic movement, now we're just going to do a little bit of a pump muscle movement, uh, in the movement area downstairs. Then we can bath after that. Cheers! It's so good. So either before or after a little bit of a pump, I'll grab a couple raw eggs, come out to this area and get a little grounding in, bare feet, and just a bit more sun as well. Cool thing about my garden is that there's a bunch of aloe vera around. So this plant here, you can rip off and check that out, fresh aloe vera. So what you can do with this, it's fantastic for the skin. Watch those spikes on the side. You can also drink it. You mix it in water, not the whole thing, but this gooey insides is really good for you, for the gut. You just get the juice and put on your skin like this, and you'll see it absorbs right in, which is really nice. Thank you, nature, for another incredible Boon. Natural skincare, natural health, it's all around us if we look for it. Obviously you've probably heard of aloe vera for sunburns, and you can get this stuff and just put it straight on and it'll help heal the sunburn really nicely. Skin and gut aloe vera. So here's the little movement area that we have at home. What we've done for this floor is get big rubber mats. You can see these, so they're big slabs of rubber, and then this 100% cotton painting drops sheet goes over the top so you get a nice natural material to touch. But you can cover quite a large area with a thick rubber, as I've done over this gravel. And so what do we have here? Obviously the boxing bag. We've got a pull-up kind of grip that I hooked up to a chain, uh, dumbbell, some dumbbells around with a neck harness. And the things that I usually do in the morning are related to What's going to improve my posture for the day? So the neck is one of the big ones of that, neck, spine, back, to get blood flowing and just get into the, the idea of like the connection to the muscles so that you take that feeling throughout the day. Because if you haven't used them all night, then it's a little harder to tap into that if you don't have a focused kind of sessions. So I get this on properly. You got 15 kilos here. We'll just keep it up straight for a while, and then you can also do some of these, this angle. See, even my lower back and everything is activated here. So when I take this weight off, it's going to be super easy to stand for the day because we're— we've tapped into that process of keeping the neck strong and long. You know, if we want to throw some kicks, we can get activated. And then I'll do a few pull-ups as well. We come further down to the mat here, we can do a bit of spinal activation like this, using the spine to move ourselves. Rolling, no hands, maybe a little neck bridge. Hold. Oh, my spine cracked there. So getting your body into every range of motion, super important again for the lymphatic system that we were activating earlier, and also just for life mobility so we can meet the challenges of the day. Just kind of roll around like a baby, you know. A really good test— uh, it's not particularly hard, but a test into older age is can you get up without using your hands? So if you've fallen, can you get up without using your hands? Easy. And then stand up. If you can't do that, you have some mobility issues. Okay. Another neck kind of posture primer for the day that I like to do: get a thick elastic band, resistance band, around the back of the head and just walk back until you get a good amount of tension and then hold it in place. You can pull back if you want a bit of extra neck muscle tension, and then just stay locked in for a while and go to the failure, so you can't hold it anymore. And then be going throughout your day, long, strong, tall, Head back, good posture going. Little physique check, looking pretty solid. This is the reverse lighting, but still works pretty well. That's the movement for our morning routine. So I wake up hungry every day, which is a good sign of health. If you're not waking up hungry, something you can probably improve upon. So I have the celery juice, that doesn't really do much for hunger. Have a few raw eggs, which does help hunger, but it's not that much, especially if you only have 3. So raw milk is the next thing with honey. I usually have a quart or so, a quart and a half, which is a liter, liter and a half of raw milk. Throughout that time period after moving around. Let's get into the bath now. So why take a bath? Well, it's the most aristocratic way to bathe. For some reason, my hot water is not working, so this is actually a cold bath. Usually it would be a hot bath, as hot as I can stand, in the interest of opening up the sweat glands to move the lymph around. It's a great thing to do after sleeping, after you've been stagnant all night. I usually soak 15 minutes or so with some magnesium chloride flakes in a hot bath, and that's what I do to bathe in the morning because it is important that you clean yourself. I did hot showers for years, obviously, but now I have a bath with rainwater, so I take advantage of it. This is cold right now, but usually a hot bath, you start sweating a lot quicker than you do in a sauna because the hot water is penetrating to your deeper tissues, which is really, really good for health. Even if it's not part of your morning routine, you don't have the time in the morning, I really highly recommend you find somewhere that you can take a hot bath. Daily hot baths for health are really, really Game changer. So here we are, the end of the morning routine. Got my ground beef that I've freshly made with a bit of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Raw meat meal, very important to have quite soon upon waking. So that your body gets the amino acids that it needs to fuel the body and brain for the rest of the day. My commute to the office is done. This is where I'll sit outside and do my work for a few hours each day. And that's my morning. I hope this has been enjoyable. Hope you've learned a few things, and we'll see you in the next video. Farewell.
