The startup market is fragmented into expensive point solutions, leaving early-stage customers with $500 monthly budgets unable to afford multiple $500 tools. Startup Science buys struggling companies, cuts their prices, rebuilds their products, and sells smaller amounts to many customers instead of betting on a few big deals.

Yeah, so there's a fragmentation of the ecosystem, and that means that there's all of these little, what I call point solutions. The startup ecosystem has just blown up, right? So you have all these people that are building startups for startups. Those customers that are out there to us, they are not capable of paying the amount of money that these different point solutions need to survive. So if you only have a budget of $500 a month, But you need 15 things or 5 things, and each one of those things are $500 a month. You just simply can't afford it. So you only get the ones that you actually need. That leaves a whole bunch of leftover companies out there for us to swoop in and acquire and integrate because we have multiple different revenue streams, not a single revenue stream. So we don't need to get $500 from one customer. We need to get $100 from 5 customers. And that makes it easier to scale. If you have a company that's starving and you know that the reason why they're starving is because the customers can't pay the price point that they need to sell it for to be profitable, you can buy that company, reduce the price, integrate it into your own software, or even rebuild it with the intellectual property knowledge that comes with the product and be successful.
