In this sales consultation video, a prospective buyer with a $25 million budget discusses purchasing a private jet for a nonstop London‑to‑Dubai route. The broker asks about passenger capacity (initially one, then five) and explains the need for a 20% range buffer to account for winds and altitude. Four aircraft are compared—G550, G450, Global 5000, and Falcon 900—showing their nonstop ranges and cabin dimensions. The broker highlights the Falcon 900 as the largest, with three cabins, a bedroom area, and a dining space, seating up to 14 passengers. He recommends the Falcon 900 for its fuel efficiency, lower operating costs (20‑30% less), and suitability to the buyer’s budget, noting its market price of $25.9 million. The buyer agrees, and the broker moves to draft a purchase contract.
Hey Steve, I have $25 million and I want a jet from London to Dubai.
No problem, we got a few we can choose from. Let's take a look on the video wall.
Let's do it.
Budget is $25 million. How many passengers you want to carry?
It's only me, I don't have any friends.
You will once you get a jet.
Okay, let's say 5 then.
And as far as range, let's say you want to fly from London to Dubai, you said? Yeah, that's correct. London to Dubai, 3,000 nautical miles, which we'll add a little fudge factor.
Why are you adding miles?
Well, because that doesn't include crosswinds, tailwinds, headwinds. Doesn't get into altitude right away, so it burns up more fuel. Those are 20% fudge factor to make sure that you have enough range for the trip. This space be your choice now. We have a G550, a G450, Global 5000, and Falcon. Let's look at these 4 airplanes. As you can see from London, you got plenty of range to get to Dubai. Here's Dubai, and this is the nonstop range of the 4 different airplanes. And then we could look at what's the difference in the cabin size. So this is actually full-size height of the airplanes. So I'd like the biggest one. Biggest one is the green, which is the Falcon 900. This is what you're looking for, is a full size of the Falcon 900. So it's got 3 cabins. You got this section here, which is a sort of a bedroom. Then you have the dining area with the condenser.
What's a condenser?
It's a cabinet where usually in the older days they used to put a lot of the old electronics like VCRs and these kind of things. Today, obviously, everybody just uses iPads. So this is used for storage, also to put food on the top, or you can even put some kind of padding on there just to have people sit and have a bigger group of people to chat. Here you got the forward 4. Club seats. So you have a total of 14 total passengers. That's the airplane. That's probably the one you should buy.
Is that the one you recommend?
I think that one, you know, it's got the most fuel efficiency. It is not as costly on the operating cost, and you can do it for your budget, and it's probably about the maximum range of that airplane. There's only one on the market. It's currently asking $25.9 million. This is what the interior looks like. Pretty pleasing on the eye. Beautiful airplane.
Super nice.
Probably the most fuel-efficient airplane, so it'll probably cost you about 20-30% operating costs less than the other aircraft, but it's priced a little bit higher than the other definitely meets your price, meets your range, meets your cabin number of seats, and it'll be a great airplane for you.
Great, Steve, I think I'll take one of those.
Okay, let's get a contract written up.
Thank you so much. I know where to send my friends now when they want a jet too.
