Starting an aviation business is viable because pilot demand is so high that flight training virtually guarantees employment. Airlines offer subsidies to cover training costs, and maintenance schools worldwide train specialists who find jobs easily.

How do you start a business, or how do you get into a business? You know, I can speak from an aviation standpoint. There's plenty of jobs out there for pilots, for maintenance personnel, and if anybody goes to school to learn how to fly, you're almost guaranteed a job. There's a big demand today for corporate pilots and for commercial pilots, so that's an easy way to get into aviation. Of course, you have to fund yourself at the beginning to get the flying lessons, but sometimes maybe you can even get commercial airlines to help you subsidize it. You can get in the military and you can get into a flying program that way. There's plenty of maintenance schools that are all over the world that really assist people to learn this whole industry. So really, in aviation, there's a lot of opportunity because it's so specialized. If you actually train yourself for the category, you're almost sure to get a job.
