Steve Varsano compares the Embraer Praetor 600 and 500. The 600 flies 4,000 miles, reaching Europe and the Middle East, while the 500 does 3,000 miles. The 600 costs about $10 million more but has a newer wing for a smoother ride.

If you want to travel around Europe or if you want to travel, you know, international, that's the real question. Because that Praetor 600 is unique for the size. It can go 4,000 miles, so you can make it from here to New York or here to Dubai. You know, that's very unique for that size airplane. Praetor 500 or Legacy 500, which is a similar kind of size, but it doesn't have the advanced wing and stuff in it, and it only goes 3,000 miles, which is great running around Europe, plenty, plenty for going around Europe, but it doesn't do anything if you want to go to America or to the Middle East. So it has those sort of restrictions. However, if you don't need to go those places, you know, you can save $10 million, and it's the same cabin and the interior is great. So you get the same pleasure out of it. But, and the Praetor has a little bit more creature comforts. The interior is a little nicer. It's a better ride because the newer wing. But physically when you're inside the plane, it's the same.
