Designer Sandra Corinna Kinzl walks through a completely reimagined Gulfstream interior that cost $5.5 million to customize. The jet features a two-step paint process: glossy black base with duct-tape stripes, then a transparent satin topcoat for a matte finish. Every element was redesigned for a cinematic feel and pilot-friendly layout.
Today I'm meeting with my friend Sandra. She completely redesigned this Gulfstream from the inside out.
Welcome on board.
Jet owners don't usually customize their planes very much, so it's crazy to see something like this. I don't know if I feel like James Bond or Dr. Evil.
Catwoman. Catwoman, sorry.
Every single aspect of this plane's interior is carefully thought out. It's really something straight out of a movie. Even the pilots fit right in. But of course, I had to ask the burning question. How much did it cost you to do the complete airplane over? $5.5 million.
Wow. Because it's priced.
Let's have a look at the outside. This plane is really one of a kind.
They painted it twice. First they painted it glossy black, they put like duct tape really on the stripes, and then they painted it in a transparent satin finish, and then you get the matte look.
Sandra was telling me she wanted to upgrade to a G550 soon. Can't wait to see what she'll do with that one.
