Steve reacts to Ronaldo’s private jet 🛩️⚽

Cristiano Ronaldo says his most expensive purchase is a Global Express private jet, which he uses for security and comfort. Steve Varsano explains the Bombardier aircraft can fly 6,000 miles nonstop and seats about 12 passengers, making it practical for a high-profile athlete.
What is the most expensive thing you've ever bought? Airplane. What model do you have now? I have a Global Express.
Nice. It is a nice airplane that he bought. That airplane could be anywhere from 1999 to the new Global Expresses that are today, but there's 4 different models: a Global Express Classic, a Global Express XRS, Global Express 6000, 6500, and there's also other versions of 5000s and 5500s. So, when he says Global Express, it's not really specific about what he's talking about, but most of the airplanes have about 6,000-mile range. So you can basically go from London to California, and it holds about 12 people. That's a moment when you have your own plane, isn't it? It is a moment when you have your own plane, but, you know, this is a different situation. This is Ronaldo.
Planes I just have because I need, because I'm not normal person. I cannot—
The key word here is, "I need a plane," because there is the security he's talking about. That is really true, because it's hard to comprehend what it'd be like to be as famous as this guy is and be able to be really attacked by all his fans no matter where where he went.
I buy because of that. It's— and of course, it's like a comfort.
His time is money also. It's so much easier for him to just say, I want to bring these people with me, I want to leave at this time, I want to go to this place, I want to fly overnight, I have to arrive at a certain time. So he has that convenience of making his calendar work around him rather than flying around the commercial airline schedules, and he has to fly to their schedule.
