Steve Varsano explains why aviation matters far beyond commercial flights. Air ambulances save lives, cargo planes deliver Amazon packages, and agricultural aircraft spray crops. Most people think flying is just for the wealthy, but the industry does way more than that.

Aviation touches them right at their own home in so many ways. When you have humanitarian aid, you have air ambulances, you have agricultural, you have cargo. How do people think they're getting all their Amazon deliveries? That's coming from airplanes that are not commercial airlines, but they just want to focus on the have and have-nots because that's just generally how human nature is. But it's not a fair assessment of the industry, unfortunately. And we're constantly, constantly trying to fight that battle of educating people what the reality really is.
