Steve Varsano and SteveWillDoIt examine a small private jet, likely an Embraer Phenom 100, priced around $3 million. It seats four passengers plus has a toilet, flies up to 1,000 miles on a tank, and costs less to operate than larger jets. They treat it as a practical buy, not just a status symbol.

How much was your airplane? Oh dude, it's a poor person jet. There's no such thing as a poor person's jet. I'm sure there's poor people in their jets.
There's only 5 seats, one of those being a toilet.
This is a small jet, there's no question about it, but they're efficient, they're cheap to operate, they're great for getting around. It's sort of a 2-hour trip, say under 1,000 miles. Yeah, it carries 4 or 5 people tight, but it's what you need to get around in 1,000 miles or less.
People would stay at saying it's 5 seats and not mention the toilet part.
So what are you saying here? It is 4 seats plus a toilet. This toilet is a certified seat, so it makes it 5 illegal seats. He's right, nobody really wants to sit in that toilet seat for a regular flight, but in an emergency, if you need 5 seats in it, great. Can't carry that much luggage on it, but he's referring, I think, to an Embraer Phenom 100.
I'm gonna say it, and I'm gonna have to tell this, there's nothing special. So you gotta do a fuel stop in my $3 million jet, and then that again is embarrassing. You got to leave that price out.
Leave that price out. The fact is, he's got his own jet, and I mean, that is a major accomplishment. Should be proud of that thing. Who's he trying to impress? He got himself some transportation. It's a fantastic piece of machinery.
That, bro, that's like a jet, bro. If you're— if you have a jet, it should be like—
he obviously didn't buy the jet for his ego. He probably bought the jet for his needs, which is the right thing to do.
