I've been selling jets for 40 years, and the most important thing I do? Networking, and especially with those working in the industry. And the best place to do that? Conferences, because that's where deals begin long before contracts are signed. I visit conferences all over the world: Paris, Miami, Dubai, Geneva, and today, right here in London, Air Charter Expo at Biggin Hill Airport. My showroom is on Park Lane, and Biggin Hill is an hour and 15 minutes by car or 5 minutes by helicopter. The Battersea helicopter shuttle makes getting to Biggin Hill effortless. Definitely the way to travel. When I arrived, I shook hands, caught up with old friends, and met new ones. Because in this industry, every connection counts.
