Probably seen a lot of misinformation on social media. Most of the stuff you're seeing is complete garbage. So what do aircraft details actually do? Airplanes get used and get more wear and tear. People are sitting on these airplanes for hours at a time. The job is basically they have local people who are cleaning airplanes just like they do to go out and clean cars. You can't just have anybody go out and start rubbing around an airplane and going into the cockpit and being afraid they're going to push buttons. You have to have people that are approved to actually be on the airport ramp, have security clearances, and you have the proper credentials. You're going you're going to be working for a company that is experienced and approved already. But it's basically shampooing and vacuuming carpets, cleaning the leather, cleaning all the glass, cleaning all the wood, making sure that all the things in the cabinets are refilled, the bathroom tanks are all cleaned. They're capital assets owned by corporations. Most of the time, passengers respect these assets.
