What I really do for my clients

Aircraft broker Steve Varsano takes a call from someone wanting to buy a plane with cryptocurrency. He explains his job: negotiate hard on your behalf for a 5% commission, no hidden fees later. He calls it beating up the sellers.
If anybody listening to this video right now has crypto they want to buy an airplane with, get a hold of me right away. Hey, how you doing?
Oh my gosh, I'm sorry to bother you.
No, you never bother me.
Between you and I, what do you think you can buy it for?
I mean, off the top of my head, I thought it was something. No, you mentioned— I don't know. No, that was a good try, but I don't think so.
Ah, well, you're tough, man.
My job is to try to beat those guys up as much as I can. I can't really do that and then say, hey, by the way, you got to pay me. Okay.
I'm with you. And your fee is 5%, you said?
Yeah, well, I said— If that was the negotiation you just pulled over me, okay.
No, no, not at all. No, I'm not going to nickel and dime you, pal.
Thank you.
Have a great weekend.
I will. You do the same. Bye-bye. This is a call from a potential client that is looking to buy an airplane that we think it's the right airplane for them. We've been looking for a few months. One thing about these negotiations, principals always like to negotiate. It's part of the sport. Of the game. Of course, everybody wants to get the best deal possible. I'm going to be representing a buyer on this one, so we definitely want him to get the best price possible.
