People always ask me, "Why do you have a metal business card?" The reason I have metal business cards are because nobody else does. At first, when I was designing a business card, I actually had a see-through plastic card that had my company name and contact details, and it was very interesting. People were always holding it up and things like that. When I started doing the jet business, I really wanted to get something super, super solid. It reminded me of the Centurion Black American Express card. It was just different than anybody else's. You have to be different. It's a marketing gimmick. When somebody gets that card handed to them, they study it, they look at it, they to really read it versus most times when you give anybody a business card, it just goes right in their pocket, and when they get home, they throw it in the trash. I've had people follow up with me years later because they've kept that metal card. It's the best marketing tool I've ever invested in, till social media.
