You can never be overdressed. You can always be underdressed. I respect my clients, who they are, where they come from. It doesn't matter if they dress down, they dress in jeans and t-shirts. They're the client. I'm servicing them. I actually feel more comfortable dressing in a suit and tie. This is probably the most underdressed I've ever been, and it looks stupid if I showed up at the factory in Switzerland in a suit and tie. Oh, that's not my client base. We're their client. It's a little bit of a turning of the role-playing here. These people looking at you, feel like you're dressed like a slob, your impression is going to be like a slob. If you you're going to play into their environment, you're wrong. Furthermore, you never really know who you're going to meet in any moment of the day, whether you're flying on the airlines, when you're flying on a corporate jet, whether you're going to a restaurant. First impressions are always important, and if I'm going to meet a potential client, I want to make sure I get that first impression right.
