Summer Chang uses Figma's new brush drawing feature to practice Chinese calligraphy for the Moon Festival, then animates the strokes with Figma Motion Agent. She experiments with custom brushes, including a rubber sequin style, and shows off multiple animation versions.
This is a Figma exploration with motion, and I finally got to try the brush drawing feature in Figma. Today is Moon Festival, so I use a brush to practice my Chinese writing. 中秋快乐, which means Happy Moon Festival! 中秋快乐! As I continue exploring more of Figma's agent feature, I also wanted to spend some time Parties with the brush, and you know handwriting Chinese characters is really fun to play with different brush texture. There's so many options available, and I definitely want to try create my own custom brush for the rubber sequin. I used the Figma Motion Agent to create a couple different animations.
