Summer Chang shows Undertone, a tool that generates animated website backgrounds. Pick character types, adjust density and speed, choose colors or draw patterns, then export a code snippet to paste into your site.
I built the undertone generator for animated backgrounds. We apply to our websites. Undertone is really flexible. You can choose different type of characters and you can change the size, the density, and the animated patterns. You can even draw with the pattern yourself. Changing the motion is easy too. With simple speed adjustment and the color choices, you can combine different colored and gradient backgrounds. When you export your background, you will be able to paste in your IDE onto any website background with very small bit of a code.
