Hi, I'm Susan C and T, the owner of the spot Personal Choice and a paramedical esthetician for the last 40 years. I brought you into my skincare room today to talk to you about a product that I have created and what has inspired me to do that clear to perfection is a noncomminogenic hair care shampoo and conditioner. Yes, I said hair care. And you wonder, why am I going to talk about shampoo and conditioner right here in the facial room? Working with acne clients for the last 40 years, what I've realized is we know the ingredients that are going to cause a problem in creating comedicity breakout. We've taken them out of most of our skincare products. What we've noticed is once I started getting people's skin to clear up when they're coming back in for a checkup, it was very apparent that they were getting consistent breakout around their back, neck and shoulders. And what I realized, cosmetic acne, it's a shampoo. So I started reading ingredient deck after ingredient deck, pouring over all the ingredients. And most of the hair care products has very comedogenic ingredients involved in them, even thick, good ones. So we even started asking vendors, when are you just going to create two more products in your corrective skin care? Skin is skin clear to the scalp, so let's just make a complete system. But it never happened. So I went out and I found a cosmetic chemist and we started working and I gave her a list of ingredients that we needed to take out because we knew that we need to take those stabilizing and replace them with things that weren't going to create the cosmetic acne? Then I decided, what can we take out of a skincare product that could really create a great result? And that's when I realized, let's use enzymes. We took the fresh cells from carrot, mango and pumpkin. They are all vitamin A derivatives. Those fresh cells and vitamin A made an incredible difference on the scalp. We all know how vitamin A works with the skin. Retinoic acids, retinols, all of those ingredients can really be a great opportunity for the skin. In our conditioner, we decided to use strawberry and kiwi, and they're great antioxidants. They gave the hair lots of shine and vibrancy.
