In this video, Tami Grgas shares her personal experience as a military mom who moved frequently and struggled to rebuild friendships after each relocation. To address this common challenge for mothers of young children, she offers a free resource called the Mom's Playbook, available at momssplaybook.liminarilylife.com. The Playbook includes a collection of 25‑30 playdate theme ideas, a planner to help mothers create community connections, and a babysitter‑hiring planner to navigate the high cost of childcare. Tami also teases an upcoming babysitting co‑op planner that will enable moms to share childcare responsibilities within their newly formed networks. She emphasizes the importance of using social media—especially Facebook groups, Instagram, and YouTube—to find and engage with other moms, and invites viewers to join her own Facebook group where she will share recipes, challenges, and support for navigating the “insanity” of early motherhood. Throughout, she encourages mothers to take control, reduce chaos, and build lasting friendships for themselves and their children.

Hi, I'm Tami, and I wanted to talk to you about a planner I've been putting together for mothers of young children. When I had a young one, we moved a lot. Uh, my husband was in the Air Force. It was in many ways absolutely fabulous to travel and move and meet new people and all that kind of stuff. But at the same time, it was very stressful because I lost all my friends that I moved away from. And this is like early days of Facebook, so I didn't have the multitude of options that are out there nowadays, which is like fantastic. However, I find a lot of young moms, moms of young ones, are still suffering when they have to move with finding new friends, and it's, it's hard. It really is. So I've put together a resource that I wish I had had, and I call it Mom's Playbook. In this playbook which is free to you. So all you need to do is, if you see the banner below, go to momssplaybook.liminarilylife.com and you can get this playbook for free. It has a planner for— well, first of all, it has many ideas of playdate themes. All right, so I I came up with like, I can't even remember how many of them. I think there's 25 or 30 in there or something like that. Um, and I want you guys to know that you can take control of managing this. Some of you are working full-time jobs. Some of you are stay-at-home moms. Some of you are kind of, you're working part-time and staying at home with the kids and All of those are hard. There's no two ways about it. And I believe that with using this resource, this Playbook Planner, you're going to be able to create community for you and your child. You are going to find some friends that you can make deep connections with. Because everybody in that part of life, their focus is their children. So talking with other moms about your kids is just great. Um, I also have in there, because another part that's very important that we seem to forget about in early momhood days is spending time with our partner. Yeah. Going on dates, that kind of stuff. So I also included in there a babysitter hiring planner to help you navigate that. And I don't know, I feel like babysitting prices are absolutely crazy right now. However, there are ways to get around that. And a big part of that is— by creating your own babysitting co-op, which is gonna be my next planner that I'm coming out with, is creating a babysitting co-op. And this is kind of the first step towards that, is by building your community of other moms that you hang out with. And I get asked a lot of the time, how do I find these other moms? Well, there's— a lot of different Facebook groups. Um, I find Facebook is my go-to place to build community. And then my go-to place to get information to bring to that community is Instagram, um, YouTube, all those places. Um, that's, that's just what I'm seeing in our world today. Okay. And I would love for you to come join my Facebook group as well. There is, um, on the second page of the freebie, there is an invitation to come join my group and be a part of it. We're going to share recipes in there. We're going to share, um, I'm going to have challenges. I'm going to have like lots of fun stuff for young moms. to be able to navigate the absolute insanity of the time suck of life. Sorry, that's just how I see it. And yeah, I hope you join my community and we can talk about kids and navigating all the things that we have to do in life when we're mothers of young people. because young people, I love them. I love young people. But when you're in the mix of it, it's very hard to see it from the outside. You just get lost in the chaos. And I really want to help you to stop getting lost in the chaos and have a plan. So yeah, I hope to see you in the group. And please grab the playbook. Thanks. Bye.
