I believe children deserve artistry because they also can feel the depth. They can feel the feeling, the music, everything. We need to believe them because I've been teaching for a very long time. Most of them are young children, and I learned one thing, that we treat them as children, as people who are beneath us, and, you know, they will not learn. I treat my students as equals. I feel like if I believe in them and guide them with the right direction, you know, or tailored direction for them. And then also they believe in themselves and they put the effort into it and they will be able to do it. And for my songs, yeah, people always ask me, oh, is it too hard, too difficult for children to understand? And I test it with my students. I think they understand. I don't want to sacrifice artistry just to, you know, write easier songs for them. How do they learn about good stuff until later? Too late. They need to know the good stuff when they're little so they know they have standards, they know what's good.
