This is a YouTube trailer titled "Official Trailer ✅; Season 4 Eps 6 George Marriner Maull -- The Discovery Orchestra" (posted Nov 11, 2023) for The Piano Pod with Yukimi Song. The excerpt is an interview-style exchange between host The Piano Pod with Yukimi Song and Maestro George Marriner Maull discussing the Discovery Orchestra, the importance of focused listening to classical music, and promoting an upcoming episode airing Tuesday, November 14 at 8 PM Eastern.

We have all been trained to ignore music as a kind of sonic wallpaper. We could make a very long list of things we do every day while music is in the background. We have to make a conscious decision to actually listen to music, to make it the center of our focus, and to be completely present with the music.
For The Piano Pod's upcoming episode, I interviewed Maestro George Marinarmol, renowned educator, conductor, violist, and TV personality who has made a lasting impact on classical music lovers nationwide through the Discovery Orchestra, a groundbreaking musical initiative focused on teaching listening skills and dedicated to transforming classical music experiences for general audiences through innovative engagement with classical masterpieces. Why is classical music so important to us?
Because I think it changes our lives in ways that we cannot even imagine. The best thing I could do is to try to help people be very moved by this music. What could I do to do this? And that's really what started us on this road that we're on right now with the Discovery Orchestra. I just felt like I had to reach as many people as I could with what I call the good news of classical music. Our biggest task is to help people discover how moving this music is. It's a life force that once you become entangled with it, it changes your life forever. At the Discovery Orchestra, we don't bring concepts like sequence to your attention so that you might impress your friends at parties or concerts. We bring concepts like sequence to your attention so that you will notice and enjoy them as you listen to music in real time.
