Music has this ability to take us outside of what we are very rapidly if we wanted to, but I think that people are not in that mindset that they can actually just be willing to receive and move outside of what they are. I need to understand my audiences, I need to understand where they're at, then I need to very carefully decide how am I going to move them outside of where they are just enough that they can experience something new. What happened to our sense of duty and responsibility? We all have this duty.
