This is a YouTube episode titled "🎧 #TPPSeason5Rewind | Episode 6: Dr. Artina McCain" (created 2025-07-10). The excerpt is an interview-style exchange between two speakers (SPEAKER A, likely Dr. Artina McCain, and SPEAKER B, the host/interviewer) about SPEAKER A's upcoming project: a deeper exploration of American music and composers from the diaspora and other underrepresented voices. SPEAKER A specifically mentions performing works by Joseph Joubert and references his Broadway work (The Wiz, The Color Purple).

And my upcoming project is also gonna be a deeper exploration of American music and other composers from the diaspora and underrepresented voices. I just, I'm very interested in finding them and bringing them to light. And so I'm excited about that too.
Oh, wow. Can you get us like a little sneak peek into your new album? Like of who would be the composers and maybe just a little hint of repertoire list? Okay.
So a very small hint is I have been playing a lot Joseph Joubert, who probably many people, they've heard me play in the last year or two, have heard some of his music. He's a fantastic conductor, pianist, and actually most known in the Broadway world. So being a New Yorker, he was most recently, he did The Wiz and he's done Color Purple. And, and so that's really been his focus in life.
