Well, it's very funny. I like to tell this story because when I first came to the Juilliard School, well, and you know, study with Adela Marcus, of course she knew that I was from a Hispanic Spanish background and she emphasized that I should play this music. So, and at that time, I think I only have done maybe one of the Iberias. Then she introduced me to another one. The Triana, of course, and the first one, Evocación. And she played Evocación in such a convincing way when she was in the studio. Her best performance was in the studio. There she could play like you have never heard anything like it. But what struck me was the understanding understanding of the style that this lady had. She had never been to Spain, um, and she had never studied with somebody from Spain.
