So, I want to share with you some failures of mine as a leader. When I first started becoming supervisory roles, leadership roles, there were some mistakes that I made. And I didn't realize they were mistakes. I thought I was actually doing the right thing. And I want to just see if any of these are maybe things that connect with you all. So, number 1 is I rarely ask people for help. Because I expected everyone— I thought everyone expected me to already know how to do the job, right? So, that was number 1 mistake I made. Number 2, I didn't confront issues with others because I didn't want to upset anybody or damage any relationships that I had. Number 3 is I didn't give clear expectations and directions to my team because I just want everybody to figure it out for themselves and figure out the right way that they felt like it was best to do it. Number 4 is I tolerated poor performance in others because I wanted to help them and not make them feel bad about themselves. And then number 5 is I accepted mediocre results as long as I thought everybody was happy. Okay? Now, this is like Leader 101 Anonymous, okay?
