Welcome to Clinic Boss Secrets.
Hey everybody. Rick Lau here. I love this episode. We're going to be talking about front desk and how do you create a relationship with them and how do you get them to become your biggest asset? Check out what Yuri and John has to say about them.
I asked Yuri just to. Just to elaborate on how important it is for the owner of the CD to shout that message regarding the importance of the front desk to the clinicians.
Yeah, absolutely. And again, I may not have like, the best experience with it because Saroosh, one of our clinic directors and owners, he does an excellent job communicating that to all of our new clinicians that can come into the clinic. Because he himself is the one who told me that when he first started as a clinician, the number one relationship he focused on wasn't with the owner, the clinic director, or clinicians. It was his relationship with the front desk. He knew that if that relationship was solid, the front desk would make sure his schedule was solid, his billings were solid, and they would watch out for him because he respects them for what they do. So I guess, like on the good side of things like what I've seen happen really well, is that during meetings, whether it's a leadership meeting, the front desk meeting, team meetings, there is always a level of respect and praise that is brought up for the front desk. And it is made very clear as to what we do. So let's say we're having a meeting about community events. We'll say yes, clinicians are going out, treating patients, generating those leads. But guess who's following up with those leads? It's your front desk. It's your pdms. We're the ones at the front making those phone calls after that community event where you worked so hard to generate all those leads without us making those calls, those leads aren't going anywhere. Like they're just lost assessments that you're never going to see again. Same thing comes for any event or any workshop that we hold. Who does the follow ups? We do the follow ups. All of the marketing. Again, Shayda, I'm sure everyone out of your marketing program does a great job of generating those assessments. Who's going to pick up that phone? Who's going to follow up with those leads?
You're fired up right now.
I love my front desk teams. I'm like, they deserve so much praise and respect.
