How can you actually implement something at your clinic without sounding like you just took a course? Check out this episode with Judy and Darrell.
How, how, how do you do this without sounding fake or people know that you're really like, it's just an exercise because you took a course. Like, how do people, like, once they start to know your personality, how do you really, you know, flip the coin to say, like, you know what, this is actually my development right now and I do want to take this seriously. Good question.
Yeah. So this is for your team. How do you convince them basically that it is a tool, a tool that they can use and benefit from as well as it won't just be another piece of data that doesn't get used for anything.
Yes. Or I'm going to see who gives the lowest responses and work on a managing them out strategy.
You know what?
You wouldn't do that, Darrel, would you?
No.
And you know what, Darrell? There's the trust piece right there.
Right.
They're not trusting what they're going to do with it. So now we've got to start that with a conversation and giving background context to why you're even going to use this.
Right.
So you might say, hey, we've noticed that we've had some turnover. We've noticed that we have new staff members, we haven't visited, our core values, our culture for a while. And I want to get a read on where you all think you are as part of this team, because then once we do this and you explain it, I want to bring this back to you all and collate it and share where we are and what we think we might want to do to improve in these areas. So there you are being transparent. You are laying the background context of why you need it, how you're going to use it. It's all anonymous and you're going to include the team in every bit of the discussion. Tell me how that sounds, Darrell.
Oh, I like that part. I like how you sort of tied it into sort of a situation, it'll change at the clinic too. Like, you know, this is it's an annual review type of thing. We've had changeover in the clinic. It's. You know, I really liked how you sort of u that as the opportunity.
