Rick Lau here in this episode we talk about what is the number one trait you're looking for in your next marketing coordinator hire? Check it out. Very good. So, Shane, I'm actually curious too. So some people had some clear expectations. Do you want to maybe share? Like for those owners that had sort of delegated that training over to you, what were some of the success stories? What were some of the reasons people were successful?
Yeah, I think one of the main reasons is the people that showed up. One, number one, showed up live, came to office hours, you know, sent me like private slack messages of like, hey, I'm thinking about doing this campaign. What do you think? And really utilizing like the resources at their fingertips. Those people had like by far the best success rates. And so yeah, I think like number one, just showing up and using the resources, you have a number two, like the people that weren't afraid to challenge their clinic owner with their new ideas. Like kind of what I was mentioning before, like instead of being the person who's always told what to do, like taking the initiative and being like, hey, this is what I'm seeing. I think we should do like this kind of campaign. What do you think? You know what I mean? Because I think it's easy to fall into the trap of just being kind of receiving orders instead of taking the initiative in your role and really like mapping out what you should be doing. Because honestly a lot of clinic owners don't have the time to be thinking about what campaigns to do. So John, that's where Ann gets it from. Yeah, I think that's a big thing though in marketing. Like the other, the other thing is I find when people start in the marketing role, they think it's just social media and they're like, okay, I'm just going to post five times a week on social media and it's kind of like a week to week thing. It's not, I find a lot of people who join the program initially, they don't have a big picture on like marketing. They think a lot. I mean, a lot of people just think it's social media.
