Hey, everybody. Hope you have an amazing day. Today we're going to talk about delegation and how to do it, how not to do it with my good friend Karen Elliot. Check out this episode.
And that's a really good point.
And I think that's why it's so important that you actually structure out your delegation process, that it actually is a process that you follow or a checklist, which, Sanjeev, you'll love with this, that you do every time, whether it's Costco supplies. Check, check. Do we. Are we both on the same page? Yes. What's the process?
Well, I'm going to go once a month.
I'm going to stock up in toilet paper on this day of the month and take the card and go and get it and bring it back. Excellent. Let's follow up after the first month.
Do you need to ask them, have you gone yet? Have you gone yet? Have you gone yet? No, no one needs to be asked, have you gone to get toilet paper every day? That's annoying.
So, and I think with this. And then that's why meeting rhythms are so important, because if you have quick meeting rhythms and they don't need to.
Be an hour, maybe at the beginning.
Of the process when somebody's new. But then it's like, okay, we don't need to meet as often.
You're doing well.
And then you don't need to check in every day because you know you have that checkpoint. And if there's anything that's urgent, they'll tell you.
Because we also have to allow them.
Time to do the task without interruption.
Otherwise they're not going to get it.
Done because we've interrupted them, as you said, Kelly.
