What do you say to your staff, your senior therapists or clinicians who don't want to meet one on one with you on a regular basis? Check out this episode with Daryl, Yardley and Judy. But let's say, you know, I've worked with Karen for 15 years. How do I introduce that to Karen now? Or she's kind of like, the hell's this guy's problem? Where's this coming from? You know, how do you, how do you address that long standing team member?
You mean with regard to behavior issues?
No, even just like setting that meeting structure, right?
Ah, the meeting structure. Okay.
Yeah. Because it's always so nice. You have a control delete with a new staff member. But Karen's been around. Well, this guy, he's never talked to me before.
You know, I'm going to bring up a really quick example that I have used post Covid and so it might be a nice way to think about it. So before we go on to the next scenario, you might just say, you know, post Covid, things are different. People have more ambiguity, more uncertainty. There is a lot of angst in a community and people. And I feel that that is impacting our culture. And I feel like because we were so removed from each other for so long, we're still having that impact. And I'd like to propose that we start meeting regularly so that one to one, so that we can just visit and make sure that we are sharing openly. We are in. These meetings might not even be about work. They may just be about developing relationships and sharing humanity. But you're connecting with other people. So what you're going to use is we've got to reconnect with each other. Yeah. And I want to start having monthly meetings with people, just even 30 minutes so we can reconnect. We are hardwired to connect as humans. We lost that. So you might use that to reintroduce and say that I am going to start doing that because I feel like I have lost connection with everybody.
Yeah. Oh, I love that. That's awesome.
