Hey, everybody, it's Rick Lau here. I get this question a lot. What's the difference between a virtual assistant and a virtual receptionist? Check out this episode.
First is I want to define the difference between a VA and VR. Okay? Now let's let a few more people in. First off, a VA to me is I describe them as like a utility player, okay? So just like in baseball, you've got this player that can play first base, second base, third base, outfield, they can bat, right? So that's what I mean by utility player, okay? So it's really up to you what you need them, what role you need them to play, okay? And what tasks, okay? They're very versatile utility players, okay? Whereas a VR, in this case, okay, virtual reception, it has a specific business function, okay? So in this case, virtual reception, they're just answering your phones and booking into your emr, okay? Or you can have like a virtual biller. It's just a. It's just a person that does that one function. They do it really well and they're just going after all your billings or they're going after your arm, things like that. Okay? So you're replacing it with a business function.
