So, no, Gaston is like a rock climbing move, right? But if your patient at the event comes up to you and he's like, I was doing Gaston and it really, like, just killed and killed my arm, and you're like, oh, okay, okay. I have no idea what that means. Is that a German sausage? Right? Then they're going to be like, okay, not, not, not my person. But at least if you can talk that same language, they're gonna feel more comfortable with it. And then you're adding value to them. Right? But I find the things that work really well is use that objective outcome measure to show them that this is actually gonna, like, give them value. And then when you ask, like, the asking part is the most important. By asking, though, and showing, it's really gonna, like, increase that, like, amount of conversion that you get. Because then by asking, it's not like setting up, like, oh, maybe they'll do it. It's like, no, I definitely know that you need this. Like, let's book you in and it'll make you feel more confident. But if you're just like, cold calling everybody, it. It makes it difficult because then people are going to shut you down. And for those clinicians, it can be a little bit harder to get shut down repetitively.
Yeah, one more thing on there. And this is kind of also related to the workshops a little bit too, but also at the events. You know, when. When Matt first talked about rock climbing. And as our. As our. One of our main partners, I'm not a rock climb at all. And Matt knows this and everybody knows this. You know, come out to the events. But, you know, I spent like a couple days actually, like, reading books on rock climbing and the technique and figuring out how the body, like, how the. The way that they're positioning themselves, what does that look like? Because that was the most intriguing thing for me. As, As A physio. I'm trying to figure out those different positions, different movements that are repetitive, not repetitive. Straining, not straining. And eventually, like in my case, what I think at some point I had more rock climbers playing, wanting to come to me than Matt because I did so much research on it, trying to figure out what like climbers actually do. And, and, and that was the. And when I would go to the event, I can, I could talk to them and actually understand. That's why I know what that means.
I don't.
I don't rock up. I actually know a lot of the techniques that they use and a lot of the lingo or dirt bag terms that they'll call it. Right. That they use. And so that. That actually makes it relatable too. Right. Because I am interested about it. I might not be good at it. I might not do it as often, but if you do it often and actually are good at it too, and actually it's a part of your thing that you like to do, it's gon even better. But it doesn't mean just because you don't do it, doesn't it? It's not going to stop you from being able to actually connect with them. But you have to put in a bit of extra effort to figure out what that is. Right?
