Hey guys, here's a fun fact. I'm probably the only human that you ever see in any of the Hero Group stuff. If it's not me on the camera, the images and most of the video that you're looking at, it's AI generated. Today I'm taking you behind the scenes because I'm building a commercial right now for the launch of Reclaimer. And I'm going to take you behind the scenes to show you a little bit about how the sausage is made. I'm going to show you exactly how I generate the visuals so that you can use the same workflow for your shop's marketing. So if you've ever want to make an ad for your shop, or you had a really cool idea for one, didn't know how to do it, or thought you couldn't afford it, I'm going to show you how to do it almost for free. So let's get started. Hey everyone, it's Tom and I'm back here in the HERO group AI Labs. You know, when I first started my marketing agency, we actually did a ton of video. And back then shooting video was like a whole production. There were at least two people on set. You had camera and sound, you had to coordinate schedules, you had to find a location, you had to set up, shoot all day, you had to feed people, make sure you got all your shots, deal with weather and location challenges. Then you had to edit, color, correct and polish it. It cost thousands to make and it took weeks before a client even saw the finished video. Well, now I can build an entire commercial just with AI. I can come up with the concept, I can write the script, I can generate the visuals, I can do the voiceover and I can assemble the cut. In fact, I just made a two minute explainer video almost entirely in AI in about eight hours, start to finish. The only thing that might be human was the soundtrack. And I'm not even sure that wasn't AI generated. And this Hero Labs episode, I'm going to build the visuals for this Reclaimer ad that I'm working on right now, live using Mid Journey. And I'm going to show you how I create these characters and the scenes, how I lay it out into the actual ad in Cap Cut. And you know, AI Video just three years ago was total nightmare fuel. But now you can create almost an imperceptible AI video. So let's build one. Alright guys, so let me kind of walk you through what we're working with here. So I've written a whole script, so this is going to be a 60 second ad, Facebook ad that will run. So we're launching Reclaimer. It's our first product out of the Hero group. First paid product out of Hero group. And what it does is it does AI insurance Rebuttals, uses the OEM procedures and various software sources to help you fight back on any kind of insurance pushback. So just enter what they're fighting you on and it'll give you what to say back to them. It'll scrub your estimate and find missing line items and there's a whole bunch of things. It writes a customer explainer in a way that's never been done before to explain what's in the estimate to a customer. With visuals and things like that. Some really cool stuff, all AI generated. So now I'm writing the ad for it because we're going to have some announcements coming out here. It's just about ready to go to market and this will be the ads that'll start running after that. So here's what I've got so far. I've already written the script, so I'm in capcut. This is what I use to edit in. There's different video editors. If you've ever done this kind of thing. This does not take long to pick up. It's easy to learn. It's just the basic idea of cutting clips, you know. So you've got this tool here where you can split, split a clip. So these are the clips that you bring in and then you can you just spit, split it, select what you want out of it. You can click and move things around and you lay in these different tracks. So that's basically the. And you'll watch me do it and you kind of be able to kind of be dangerous enough in it. And then YouTube videos are your friend if you ever get stuck on anything. But. So anyway, so that's cap cut. So we're going to edit in capcut. I have the audio done in here and I've got the music done in here. I've got two versions of the cut. So I'm going to build the images, bring them in and then I'm going to try them here and here. Because the music's a little bit different. I cut this one tighter. This one's got more breathing room in the way he talks. This one's much tighter, it moves much faster. I'm not sure which one I'm going to like the best. So I'm leaving them both up in there. And the music's slightly different in Two places. There's actually two versions of this track. One's got this audio component of like a singer and I have that version where I've kept that in. And then I have another version where I cut the singing out and I drop down to the, to the. What do you call it, the instrumental version of the same track. So I'll show you in premium Beat where that comes from. So, so anyway, so that's what I've got. So I've got the audio and I've got the track. I like to edit to music, to the music. I'm a big fan of like cutting to the beat. I think that it makes the video way more powerful, especially if you got a really driving track. And that's what I've got. And I'm going to play this here in just a second. But I want to show you how I got to these components. So I have, I use. Let's start with the music. So there's a couple of places that you can go for music. A couple of my favorites. I really like premium beat. I think that's where I bought this track from. They're not expensive, you know, and the royalty free. So they're cleared for you to use on television, radio and social media. You're not going to get any kind of like it won't, you know, like sometimes it'll say you can't play this because it's not cleared music. So, so this is that. And so you can, you know, when finding a music you can search by genre, by mood, sometimes instrument, things like that, even beats per minute and stuff like that. If you're really kind of an advanced user and you want something kind of like really fast, you can put in like 125 beats a minute or you know, if you want something that's going to be doing a lot of quick cuts and things like that. And then you can also do, you know, by mood. So that's how you can find a track. But I'll show you like if I just did action sports and you just come over here and you can click this and kind of listen to. I actually did. I've used this track before. I really like this one. It's really cool. I used it in my, in our explainer video. But like volume up here so you can kind of get a feel for the music. And then another key thing to look at these two on these tracks is they have a 15 second, a 30 second and a 60 second. That's really helpful if you're going to be cutting A video to a very specific time length, like for a commercial. So like a 60 second. This is the 60 second version of this song right here. This is the 30 second version. This is a 15. This is the full track which is, I don't know, It's 170 beats per minute. There's also these stems in here. So if you're an advanced editor, you can use these stems. Like if you want to put a musical element in a place where it's not in the track. And these, you can even build a track with it. Like you can loop these. Like, like these elements like that. If you wanted to use that and it wasn't in the music where you wanted it, you could grab that loop and then, or, excuse me, that stem and then there's. So the loops are good. If you're trying to stretch out a song, you need it to go an extra round or two before it gets to the, to the next change. I don't know with the musical, not a musician, but being a bridge and all that kind of stuff. But that's your kind of baseline there. So those are all the pieces that you, you have when you buy one of these tracks. And I think that they are. If I click download, I think it'll tell me the pricing. Yeah, so $59 for the track. So one track can be used in commercial work. I can publish it. I can use it in five social channels. If I'm going to use this on TV and radio, then I'll have to pay the $199. But still 200 bucks for a music track that's going to be, you know, kind of a central piece of this video. It's not that much. That's why, that's why in my intro I said it's a. I'll show you how to make these things for almost free. So these are, that's gonna be one of your hard costs is your music. The other one is the voiceover. So this is Elevenlabs. That's where I like to do these voices. I mean they are just phenomenal. I mean they're almost imperceptible. And you can coach the voice a little bit, a little bit on it. So you can take your copy and drop it in here and you can listen to the voices or you can just kind of come play around here or you can search through different voices. Like if you got idea in your head, like I want a, you know, a 30 something. Mom. Right? So here we got. That's in English here, Mid-30s. So we got Alex. Why is it too bad? Let's see. There we go. That's fine. Female, age, young. There we go. You can just kind of, you know, So you can see tons and tons and tons of female voice. I mean, hundreds of these things. You're sure to find somebody that you like. Alright, so that's that. So that's. You just drop your. Once you find a voice you like, you drop in your copy. It'll generate the voice. So you go create a voice and then you'll have that and then you'll download that track. So then you're gonna bring it into capcut and the way you build in the cap cut is you import your clips and things like that and you know, like your music, your voiceover and then you start to lay them in these tracks here. So this is a track, this is a track, this is a track. So you can see I've taken my two music tracks I forgot to show you. But you can get a. If you have one that has singing in it, they most likely have an instrumental version of it as well. So I bought this track, I bought both, I downloaded both the instrumental and the one with the voice because I really like this one voice element. But anyway, I'm going to show you where I'm at with this first clip and so I can give you kind of an idea of what my commercial is going to be like. So here, let me just play it for you right here. Just a quick second of it.
Owning a collision repair shop, it's never been harder. Dealing with insurance companies never been tougher. Fixing today's vehicles never been more technical. But pushing back on insurers, educating customers and getting paid, it couldn't be any easier.
Here's my concept. Right? So we've got three things we've got. Running a shop is difficult. Pushing back with insurance companies even harder. Working on modern cars are even harder. We've got three things. So what I need to do is I need to create a visual of a guy running a shop. Then I need him fighting with an insurance company. And then I need him out on the shop floor dealing with maybe a technician that's working on a modern car. So I'm going to generate those images. Then what I'm going to do is when it says basically putting it all together, you know, it's never been easier. That's like kind of leading you up to what the product's doing. So then I'm gonna lay, when he's saying that piece of it, I'm gonna lay those three in there. It's gonna go like 1, 2, 3. And then, and then it, and then it kind of builds to this music moment and then it boom. It transitions into the, into the product shot. So like it'll come right here. Oh, hold on, I forgot the music. So here's how it'll sound, right? And then boom. Now you're going to start seeing product shots, right? So then I'll start cutting into actually seeing the product and then it'll wrap up with the shop having a, you know, much happier existence. So that's that, that's that cut. This cut is the same thing. I just made it a lot faster. I cut out all the pauses that he's talking because I'm not sure if it's time. This one's like exactly a second 60 second cut. So. So anyway that's what I'm working with now. We got to build the people and I haven't done this. This is just where I'm at. So now let's build some people here. Alright, so I gotta go back here. I. I use Mid Journey. There's a lot of options out there. You know, I said in the beginning that AI video in the beginning was nightmarish. You know, you price seen people have, you know, 80 hands and like crazy stuff like that. That is. Those days are behind us. I'm not going to say that it won't hallucinate a little bit because I do get some weird movements out of this every once in a while. But really it is so usable now like I said, I like to use Mid Journey. There's a lot of options out there. There's Sora, there's. There is Gemini Nano, Banana. There's a bunch of different ones. But this is the one that I've been using. I'm just really proficient at it. So here we're going to come over here to create. So you can see this. Some of the stuff I've been working on here. But so I need. There's a key piece to this too. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to tell this thing that I need a frustrated. Auto body. Shop owner. I kind of want this guy. My vision for this shot is that he's kind of like he's sort of in the front office and he's dealing with. So here this. There's a bunch of different tips on how to prompt these things too. But it helps to do photorealistic. You can put in there the camera that you want. It's shot on the angle that it's shot at like bird's eye low shot. So I'm going to do photo realistic. Frustrated auto body shop owner shot. Handheld camera style. We see the owner talking with a equally frustrated estimator. Near their perception desk. This is the key piece for video. You're going to want to go arm hyphen ar, Which is aspect ratio. Otherwise it'll be always square. You, you can come in here to the settings, set it as landscape. So you can do portrait, square landscape. It defaults to square. You can play with some of these things too, like stylization, weirdness, variety, the speed, all that kind of stuff. But what we're going to do is we're going to start with an image. I'm going to see if we get what we like, see if I get something I like. And then we'll start animating them and I'll show you how easy that is. So let's just see what it does with that. And it's so fast too. This only take a couple minutes to run. Four options. For this video. I don't know, I may or may not use these. But so the version, if you ever see this ad run, it may not be these same people because I'm going to do this pretty quickly just for the sake of this video. But let's just see what we got. Okay, so that guy's a little crazy. I don't like him. This might be interesting. This guy might be interesting. So I want to see what happens here. So let the. So now. Okay, so now I've got these images right here. So I've got two that I like to, that I don't like. I've got a couple options at this point if I, if I want to redo it again. I just want another shot at it and just see. I can hit here, use text. I can tell it that, you know, I can change something like, like, like this is dark. Like I can say make it know, brightly lit or you know, like different. You know, you can keep prompting this just with the wording and see what you got. You can just repeat it again and just send it again and just see what you get. So this one's kind of interesting. I like this one. So I want to see what happens now. One thing I noticed because I set it at AR4. 3. This may be thing I have to go back and fix. So if you, if you like this image, you want to use this image, you can download it right here. Boom. Download it. I mean, look how real these people are. Like, if you didn't know any better. I swear. You would think that was a real photograph. From here, you can do things too. Like, you can vary things, like subtly or strong. You can upscale it, you can rerun it, you can reuse elements of it. Like, you like the style of it, you like the image, the prompt. But what we're going to do is we're going to animate it. So I want to see what happens. There's low motion and high motion. I like the low motion one because they get a little less jerky if you do high motion. They're all going to move around and it's going to get a little weird. So let's just start with low motion. And I'm hoping that this 4, 3 aspect ratio is going to work for me. I'm afraid that I need it to really be the 16, nine. But we'll just try one, see what happens. Because I can always reuse these people and do a. Oops, didn't mean to do that. I can always reuse them and train the AI to keep using these two people. So let's just see what happens. Let's do a little motion to see what happens. And then I'll download a clip and put it in capcut and see if it's the right aspect ratio. Because if it's not, I'm gonna have to fix that before we get too, too crazy with it. But the animations, they don't take much longer than the renderings. But let's see what else we got here. Yeah, this one's not gonna work. No, I don't really like that image. This one. This one might work, but this looks kind of realistic to me. So. Yeah. So here we are. We're 43% complete, like, super fast. You can do all this stuff, but I've gotten this where it's generated a character that I like. And then you can just. I'll show you how we can just keep reusing this character, put them in different scenes. So we'll take these same people, either him or her, and we'll put them out in the shop floor. We can have them talking to. At their desk, talking to an insurance company, all kind of stuff. So we're at 84%. Let's see what we got. All right, so let's see. So you see, like the. This one's. This is where I talk about, like, a little bit of the AI, like, kind of gets a little crazy. So that one's not a good one. But now I'm on the next one. Let's see what happens. Yeah, she's acting a little strange. That. That might be used. That might be usable. Wait a minute. I just saw something remove his hands. Yeah, so this. This last one is okay, but I can rerun it and just see what else we come up with. But I can download this one. I'm really mostly interested right now. And if I've got the right size. So I've just rerun it. But the other thing you can do too is you can extend it, right? So if I want to. If I don't have enough lengthen the screen in this shot. Like I need. I need more time in this shot. I can. I can extend it right there. You can also extend manually. Oops, I'm doing the wrong image here. So let's see what we got here. We're redoing this. This is how we can reuse the same character up here. So let's get rid of that. So I'll get back to that in a. Okay, so this one's almost done here. Actually. That's really good. That. That is. That's the most usable one right there. She's a little too jerky in that clip. Let's see, what's the third? Actually, this is the perfect one. I like this interaction here. I'm gonna download that. That's a good one too. Let's just see. I got one more round of it. Let's see what happens. Kind of interesting. It's introduced this paper element. Let's see what happens with that. Just throwing papers around. Yeah, I don't like that. See, Most of these papers complain. Okay. So, yeah, I don't like those. So that. That didn't do a good job, but I got what I need. So now I'm going to go back into capcut here. I'm going to import my downloads. These are my video clips that I just rendered out. And I just click it and I drag it over here. So. Because I laid my music down, but not a track A. I need to do something here. I need to save this. I was kind of hoping I could duplicate this. Well, I'm gonna have to. Okay, so this is like a weird thing I gotta do. So in Capcut, when you start doing your video, it starts from this frame right here. I don't want to cut this here because I don't know, I'm not. I'm not sure yet which version of this I'm gonna use. And I may move some things around. So what I need to do is I'm going to have to just keep putting video in here until I can get to this scene. Because I just need to cover the stuff I'm not using. So I'm just going to have to keep dragging this and throwing it in here. It's going to look a little weird because it's going to be the same people doing the same thing over and over again. But I just need to. I just need to fill this spot until I can get to get to over here where I want to be. So just bear with me when I do this. This is like a workaround maybe. If you're a pro at this kind of stuff, you're probably laughing at like why are you doing it like that? But I don't know. That's how I know how to do it. So let's see. Alright, so we're right on my scene that I want. So I want to cut this back. And now now let's lay our scene in here, our actual scene and let's see what we got. Yeah. See this is. This is too small. I need it to be. But this isn't gonna work. Well, for the sake of this video, this is what it looks like here.
Owning a collision repair shop, it's never been harder dealing with insurance companies.
So that's, that's the right length. It did what I want. The only problem is it's not 16 by 9, which is what I want. This is 4, 3. I was afraid this would be a. That this was going to happen ratio. Here we go. Yeah. 16. Beautiful. This is what I want. See this wide video here. So I have a couple options here that I can do. I can come over here, I can re upload this video. Let's try using our people again. But what I'm going to do is I'm going to use an omni reference and I'm going to use these people. So let's see if we can get it where we want it. Hyphen, hyphen AR 16, 9. So that omni reference, this works. I'll explain what that is. Do what it did, right. So it kept the same people, it created new scenes with them. But now I've got my aspect ratio that I want and I have this image right here. So I don't know about this lanyard business that he's got on, but let's see what happens if I animate it. So we'll use that one. Let's try this one. Let's just see what happens. This is not bad. I don't know if it's exactly What I want. But let's just see. I'm going to have to do the same thing where I just keep laying this in until I get to where I want it to be. What I'll end up doing is cutting it right to where I want it. But I just don't want to lose all this music first, so. Because I'm kind of playing with it in the middle of the track. All right, so my track starts right here. I want kind of just a second or two of black. So fade into it. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to cut this clip right here. I'm going to come over here, I'm going to select it. I'm going to get rid of that tail end, and now I'm going to lay my clip in, and this is how we'll see it. So I'll do a fade from black. So it'll fade into this. But let's just see what we got. This is now. Now we can see what this thing's at 16:9. At full 16:9. Okay. Yeah. All right, we're at 16 9. So here, let's see what we got. Now.
Owning a collision repair shop, it's never been harder dealing with insurance companies.
So that clip will work. Right? So. So I'm going to cut this here, Trim that tail end off there. Now let's watch that again.
Owning a collision repair shop, it's never been harder.
Beautiful. Exactly what I want. All right, now the next line is fighting with insurance companies, I think. All right, so now let's put that same guy in. Okay, this same character on the phone. Having a difficult call. He is frustrated. Difficult phone call. Insurance company. Start hyphen. Hyphen AR 16, 9. I wish there was an easier way to set this at 16, 9. I haven't figured it out. Okay, so. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna go here and we're gonna use omni reference. So we want this guy. Is our omni reference. So this same character on the phone, he is frustrated having a difficult phone call with an insurance company adjuster on the other end telling him bad news. Let's see if that's a good enough prompt. But it's going to use this. The same character, the man in the black shirt. So now this is how we get this same guy in a different scene and not lose any, you know, not have him not look like the same guy. So let's see what happens. See, we got. Looks like Keanu Reeves there. Tell you one thing. I wouldn't want to mess with this guy. Okay, now we got our images. All of these look good. So I'm gonna. I'm gonna animate that one. I'm gonna animate that one. Animate that one and that one. Let's just see what we got. This. This one might actually work. He's a little spastically frustrated, but let's download him and just see. It'll give me one more option. While I'm at it, I'm going to have this guy do the next scene, which is he's going to be man in the black shirt. He is. Discussing a repair with one of his technicians near a car on the shelf floor in the shop. Ar 16. 9. And I need omni reference this guy. All right, look at that. Going longer. Look at this guy here. This might work. It's a little. But I could do. It's fine for a while. So what I could do is I could slow down the speed. So now I gotta start building that. But let's see what we got here so far.
Owning a collision repair shop, it's never been harder. Dealing with insurance companies. Never been tougher. Fixing today's vehicles. Never been more technical.
That's pretty good so far. Let's look at that full screen here. I gotta pick up from right here. Let's see.
Owning a collision repair shop, it's never been harder. Dealing with insurance companies. Never been tougher. Fixing today's vehicles. Never been more technical. But pushing.
Boom, there we go. So now we got the first couple sections there. We got the same guy dealing with three frustrating aspects of his business. All right, so you guys kind of get an idea from there. I'm gonna stop it right there, you know, so that's just how I do things in mid journey. Got a nice start to my ad there. I may still come back and tweak a few things. Still got more. Some more scenes to render, but at least you got to see how I'm doing things in AI and, you know, other than a couple hiccups there, it's actually kind of fast. So, you know, hopefully you learned something there. Hopefully now you got inspired to go out and create your own ads and everything for your. For your social medias, for your shop, for your. Maybe run some. Some. Some commercials or anything like that. This is certainly a cheaper way to do it, and it just takes a little bit of time. You can kind of have some fun with it on a Saturday if you want to, or Sunday if you're. You're kind of in the shop. Want to get some work work done. You're feeling creative, create an ad. But by all means, if you start creating some good stuff, if you're inspired by this video, send it to me. I'd love to see it. You can find me at tom@Herogroup.AI and that's it for this episode, and I'll see you guys on the next one.
