In this episode of the Trigger and the Truth podcast, host Tina White leads Day 3 of the Mid‑Year Reset series, focusing on mental clutter and hidden energy leaks. She explains how unresolved thoughts, avoided conversations, and emotional baggage accumulate like weight, sabotaging execution and personal well‑being. Tina urges listeners to examine where their time and energy are spent—identifying meetings, messages, clients, or relationships that feel heavy before they even start. She distinguishes burnout caused by doing too much of the wrong thing, especially when boundaries are missing. The episode provides two concrete actions: (1) journal or voice‑record every lingering thought or feeling to clear mental bandwidth, and (2) audit one habit, task, or relationship that is draining, and consciously unfollow or disengage from it. Tina reinforces the principle that material gifts mean nothing if they come with drama, disrespect, or strings attached, and stresses protecting one’s peace as sacred. The episode closes with a preview of Day 4 (business operations spring‑clean) and a call‑to‑action from Speaker C inviting listeners to share their stories or become sponsors via the Trigger and the Truth hotline.

Now let's dive into today's episode and start this journey into self-discovery and wellness together.
Welcome to day 3 of the Mid-Year Reset. Mental clutter and energy leaks. What's draining you? Let's get real honest for a second. What's been keeping you up at night? What's been sitting on your spirit that you haven't said out loud? The things you're not fixing, the convos you're avoiding, the emotions you keep sweeping under the rug. They don't go away. They pile up, and that pile becomes a weight. Let me be clear: a cluttered mind kills execution. Free it. This isn't about needing more motivation or willpower. It's about freeing up your mental bandwidth so you can show up fully and clearly for your goals, your relationships, and yourself. Now let's add the second layer to this truth serum. Where is your energy going? Who or what is draining you in silence? Your calendar holds the clues. Look at how your time is being spent. Does it feel like you're running all day but not getting anywhere? Are there meetings, messages, clients, or commitments that feel heavy before they even start? If it drains you, it delays you. For years, some of us have been hustling backward. We were taught that if we're moving and doing, booked and busy, that equates to success. And while all of that is fine, take the time to reflect on just how drained you often feel from all of that motion. Because emotional burnout doesn't always come from doing too much. Sometimes it comes from doing too much of the wrong thing. For the wrong people with no boundaries. Your challenge today is twofold. One, write it out. Journal or voice note everything sitting on your mind unfiltered. Get it out of your head and into the light. Second, audit your energy. Unfollow one task, one habit, or one relationship that's been bleeding your time and peace. One thing I've learned and put into practice this year is that it doesn't matter how many bags, shoes, accessories, trips, how much monies, dinners, flowers, or whatever a person gives you. If all of those things come with drama, lack of boundaries, disrespect, and strings, it's too expensive for me and I don't want it. And I will not deal with anything that disturbs my peace. And you guys shouldn't either. This is about clearing emotional clutter and protecting your energy like your life depends on it, because in some ways it does. I'll meet you here tomorrow for day 4, where we'll spring clean your business operations inside and out. Until then, protect your energy like it's sacred, because it is.
