Emily Cerda from Tiny Health announces that starting September 3, three metrics—host DNA, unconjugated bile acids, and secondary bile acids—will only appear in practitioner reports, not consumer reports. These metrics need clinical context to interpret properly. Tests ordered before that date will still show them to consumers.

Hi, everyone. My name is Emily Cerda. I'm a microbiome specialist here at Tiny Health, and I know many of you from clinical reviews. I wanted to take a couple minutes today to walk you through a change that's coming to the practitioner portal on September 3rd. And more importantly, I want to kind of give you an idea of why the changes are an actual upgrade to how you use Tiny Health with your patients. So as of September 3rd, 3 metrics, host DNA, unconjugated bile acids, and secondary bile acids are going to become exclusive to practitioner reports. They are no longer gonna appear on our consumer reports. So I wanna be very clear that you already have access to these metrics today. So nothing is being taken away from the practitioner report. And at this time, nothing is being added. But what will happen is is that the consumers will no longer see those metrics on September 3rd and beyond. So any test purchased before September 3rd will display host DNA, unconjugated bile acids, secondary bile acids for both practitioner and consumer tests. Any tests purchased on or after September 3rd will include the host DNA, UBA, and SBA in the practitioner test only. Consumers will no longer receive these metrics when they order directly Through Tiny Health. Okay, so why are we doing this? We're doing this because these are 3 metrics that require clinical context to interpret. We need patient history, symptoms, maybe other labs that you've run. And that's why we're keeping them in your hands and not in the consumer report. So just to recap real quickly, host DNA, Unconjugated bile acids, secondary bile acids will be practitioner exclusive on September 3rd and beyond. This applies to tests purchased September 3rd or later. And future tease, more practitioner-only metrics will be coming as we continue to build out our science and bring you new metrics. So this is just the beginning of this shift. Now, if you want to dig deeper into how to use any of these metrics with a specific patient, remember, we're here. The clinical team is here for your support, for your education. In your practitioner portal, you can go up to book a call, and you can book with us, and we can talk it through. We'd like to thank you for the work you do with your patients, and thank you for being a Tiny Health practitioner.
