We appreciate you being here since this program is optional and discusses best practices for your consideration. If you are thinking of adopting any of them, please make sure to review the requirements in your area region with your broker, branch manager, or manager, including those related to contacting consumers. We do want to highlight the importance of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, better known as tcpa. The general rules are that it's okay to call people if the person recently gave you their phone number, but remember to check the DNC lists regularly if they haven't spoken to that person in a while. You will also want to check the DNC list anytime you don't have permission. Automated calling texting platforms should never be used. Pre recorded messages and artificial voices should never be used. You will be personally liable for any violations of the tcpa. We'll mention the TCPA a few times throughout this presentation.
To create custom menu links from your Moxie website to external websites, first navigate to the Website Admin Tool Dashboard. From here, click on Site Pages in the left column and then at the top of the page click on the button for Add New. From the drop down menu, select Menu Link and then submit Under Menu Link name, enter the title of the external website as you wish it to appear in your website's navigation menu. In this case, I want a link to my Facebook business page and so I'm going to type in Facebook for the link URL. I am going to go to my Facebook business page, copy the URL and paste it into that box. I then have the ability to choose if I would like that custom link to open in a new browser window or not. Once completed, I will click Save. Now if I navigate back to site pages, I will find my new custom menu link at the bottom of the list. If I wanted to rearrange that on my website's menu navigation bar, I can simply drag and drop that into the location that I want it to appear, scroll back down to the bottom, and then click Publish. Now when I visit my website I have a tab at the top and a new menu item that acts as a link to an external website.
