This is Boost your reach with targeted video ads using Boost and Custom Video Tool. We appreciate you being here since this program is optional and discusses best practices for your consideration. If you're thinking of adopting any of them, please make sure to review the requirements in your area with your broker or branch manager, including those related to contacting consumers. We do want to highlight the importance of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, better known as tcpa. The general rules are that it's okay to call people if the person recently gave you their phone number, but remember to check the DNC list regularly if you haven't spoken to that person or contacted the lead in a while. You'll also want to check the DNC list anytime you don't have express permission. Automated calling and texting platforms should never be used. Pre recorded messages and artificial voices should never be used. You will be personally liable for any violations of the tcpa. Here's how to navigate to and use the Do Not Contact system inside of Desk. First sign on to Description, then click on the Do Not Contact app. From within the Do Not Contact system, type in the phone number to be checked. The results will show records for Federal, State and Anywhere Advisors Company Do Not Contact List. In this workshop we will cover downloading content from Marketing Center's custom video tool, creating an agent promotional ad in Boost, and adding video to your Boost ad. Here is my CBdesk where you can find both of the tools we will be using. Custom video can be found in the Marketing center tile and Boost has its own tile called Boost Homespotter. We're going to start with Marketing center so we can create our video. Once you are in the Marketing center, you will navigate to the menu on the left hand side of the screen and click on custom Video. Once you click on it then it will take you directly to the customizable templates. During today's Demonstration we'll be utilizing the Move Meter Local look campaign to access the video. Hover over the movemeter Local look template to either preview or Select. From there, you'll click on select and then you'll be taken to the template to customize. On the left side of the screen are your editing tools. At the bottom you can choose different scenes to edit. The middle of the screen displays a live preview which updates as you make edits. Above the Live Preview, in the top right corner is a toolbar with options for voiceover and music selection. Between these options are format choices. All formats are compatible with Boost, but we recommend the 9x16 portrait format for a better boost. Ad Engagement. Let's go down the list of items and start customizing the video. Before you start editing, select the scene you want to edit at the bottom of the screen. We suggest starting with Scene one. Each time you would like to edit a new scene, make sure to click on the next scene below to continue editing the video. To start editing, you'll want to locate the image or Video section on the left. This is where you can change the video or image from the library or upload your own from your computer. The step below is where you can record your own voiceover. Please note that the voiceover is only applied to the scene that is chosen and not the entire video. You may record a voiceover for each scene. Underneath that is where you can change the title. The next step is to add the DBA doing business as which would be your local brokerage DBA such as Bain or if you're part of Coldwell Banker Realty, it will automatically be added so you may leave this section blank. In the next section located at the bottom of our screen, you can select which scene to edit. Each scene offers various areas for customization. Once you click on a scene you wish to edit, view the editing tools on the left and make your changes. Sam. When you've edited each scene and your video is ready to be downloaded, be sure to click Process and Add to Library. If you want to preview your video prior to processing the final piece, be sure to click Preview. In this step, we'll go ahead and process an Add to library. When you see the URL set message on your screen, go ahead and wait for the pass through or click on the Close item. From this screen you can use the left side menu to find My videos. This is where all the videos you've created are housed. Once your video has processed located in the My Videos folder and then select on the menu option on the far right of your screen. By clicking on those three dots, a menu will expand, allowing you to select from various options. In this demonstration, we're going to download the video because we plan on using it within our Boost product. Those steps will come next. From within the Download video window, select the file size and then click Download. Now that we have our video downloaded, we're going to navigate back to Desk and open Boost. The first and most important thing to do is to go into your profile picture in the top right corner and click on Account Settings. Afterwards, click on the Boost Notification Preferences tab and make sure that your preferred notifications are turned on. Additionally, you may also connect your Facebook business page. Once your settings are updated, you can click on the Coldwell Banker logo in the top left corner to navigate back to the home screen. At the top you will see your current active and recently sold listings. All these listings will have ads you can edit and run. Below those listings you will see any ads that you are currently running and any campaigns that have ended in the last 30 days. The stats at the top of the section will show your overall performance and each had will have individual stats too. Let's discuss a little bit about those. First, you'll want to locate the Engaged column. Any number located in this column is anyone who has unlocked the address or photos of your listing or liked, commented or shared on social media. The Clicks column is anyone who has clicked one of your ads and the Ad View column is anyone who has scrolled past your ad on social media or or has seen it on the webpage. You can also change the filters so you only see the exact ads you're looking for. Finally, you'll see the Agent Promotion Campaign section. The Agent Promotional campaign will be $129 a month, but you can cancel it at any time as it's a month to month subscription. The expected monthly ad views average between 8,000 to 12,000 views per month. Your ad will be seen on include Facebook, Instagram and over a thousand different websites such as msn, cnn, Business Insider, and more. Now that you have an idea of how to navigate Boost, let's create our ad. You'll want to scroll to the Agent Promotion campaign section and then find the set up your campaign button here. This will open a new window. On the left you will see a phone with a preview of your ad and on the right you'll see all the settings you can change as you make changes. On the right side, the phone preview will update in real time. First, let's click Edit next to add Creative. Once you see Your new options Toggle the option for Upgrade to Video, Then click Edit Video. You'll see options for changing the semi custom video Boost provides you, but we've already created our own custom video, so instead let's click Upload Video. Next, we're going to click on Browse, and then we can navigate to wherever the video is saved on our computer. The last and most important step is to toggle the button saying that you have full rights to the video you're uploading. Be sure to click Save and Update. Now we're back to the Ad Creative screen, where you can make other changes like various captions and lines of text on your Facebook ad. One very important thing to note, only the social media sites, including Instagram and Facebook, will upgrade to video. The web ad will remain a static photo, so for that you have two options. You can edit the Boost ad by adding your headshot and changing the background using the two buttons at the top of the screen. Or you can toggle on Upload your own ad. To upload the image of your choice, just make sure you're uploading the right size, which is 300 by 250 pixels. As you make changes, don't forget to keep checking the screen on the left hand side to make sure you like the way your ad looks. You can click Social Ad to see what your ad will look like when it's on Facebook and Instagram, and you can click on Web Ad to see what your static ad will look like on the 1000 website. Boost advertise on. If you're happy with what your social ad text looks like, including the Facebook headline, title and link description, click on Save and Update to complete this step. The next step in completing your agent promotional campaign is completing the billing information. This part doesn't need to be demonstrated because it's pretty straightforward, but this billing information section is where you enter your credit card information when you're ready to purchase your ad. Next, we have the Where Should Ad Clicks Go? Section. This next question refers to the landing page people will arrive at once they've clicked on your ad. Boost will provide you with an automatically generated what's My Home Worth? Landing page. However, since we're advertising the move meter on the ad, we should probably give people more information on that. To edit this section, go ahead and click on Edit next to the Where Should Ad Clicks Go. Here you can see the Boost Landing page driving visitors to the what's My Home Worth? Automatic generated Landing page from the Boost product. Instead of using the Boost Landing page, we're going to insert our own custom URL. In this case, we're going to replace the URL that's currently appearing and instead paste the URL to the landing page that takes the consumer to the move meter on our website. Once you've made this change, click Save and Update. The next step we have is who will see this ad. We're going to go ahead and click on the Edit button to the right of this. Your Boost account will be set to automatically target the city where your Coldwell Banker office is located, but you do have the option to change that if you'd like. In fact, you can target up to five areas at once anywhere in the country. To do so, use the Search Areas section at the top of the map here you'll see the five areas listed below the map in this section here. Once you've chosen your geographic area or areas, you may want to target specific people as well, such as your past clients or your sphere of influence. In that case, click on the button that says Add on a custom audience of Contacts and Website visitors. When this new window opens, you can upload a spreadsheet of any of the contacts you'd like to target. You don't even need to include names, just an email or a phone number, or both if you have them. Please keep in mind that There is a 300 contact minimum in order to use this option. If you are uploading a Contact CSV file, be sure to use the Upload Contacts button here and then click the Save button in the lower corner. The last step, and the only other thing to consider before placing your ad is if you'd like to add on advertising to the nextdoor app. If you do, simply check the box next to Ad nextdoor. Do know that this will increase the price of your ad per month. Once you make that decision and you like how the ad looks on the previews on the left, you're all set to click Order now and read Add.
