We appreciate you being here since this program is optional and discusses best practices for your consideration. If you are thinking of adopting any of them, please make sure to review the requirements in your area region with your broker, branch manager, or manager, including those related to contacting consumers. We do want to highlight the importance of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, better known as T. The general rules are that it's okay to call people if the person recently gave you their phone number, but remember to check the DNC lists regularly if they haven't spoken to that person in a while. You will also want to check the DNC list anytime you don't have permission. Automated calling texting platforms should never be used. Pre recorded messages in artificial voices should never be used. You will be personally liable for any violations of the tcpa. We'll mention the TCPA a few times throughout this presentation. How to categorize your clients in Moxie Engage we begin at the Moxie Works tile, then select Engage from the navigation bar. Then proceed to People and My People. This is a dashboard that shows all of the contacts you have in Moxie Engage. Then let's go to the Categorize Wizard. The Categorize wizard will display all of the contacts you have in your database and you can click Show Me More to load more contacts. You can categorize contacts as a non client or a client. A non client is someone that you don't want to share any marketing or drip campaigns with. For example any personal contact. Although in real estate everyone can be a potential prospect. So most likely you will be using the Categorize wizard to categorize to a client. So if I click Client, these are the options that I see. You can create a marketing plan for this contact, make them a seller prospect, or or made them a buyer prospect. If we choose to create a marketing plan for Jane Doe, for example, these are the options. Past seller, a past buyer, a past seller and buyer, or none of these. So for example, if I categorize Jane Doe as one of my past sellers, it will tell you this person is now top of mind with a marketing plan and I can click Create Plan. The marketing plan has been created for Jane Doe. If I click on her name, this will take me directly to her profile as a contact and as you can see there is a marketing plan and this person is now a prospect as a past client. So the system creates a plan or a list of tasks that you can utilize to stay top of mind with Jane. You can also add your own tasks, add the task name, a description, the duration, a due date, or you can utilize the suggested task that the system has given you. If we click on the down arrow by each one of these tasks, you will see the option to mark it as done or to edit, where you can rename the task, change the description, change the duration, the due date, and it's also a good idea to check the box that says Add to Calendar so that it flows into your calendar on the dashboard. So this is how you categorize a contact into the different zones.
