Connect Your Social Media Accounts to Prospect Square / Quick Tip

We appreciate you being here since this program is optional and discusses best practices for your consideration. If you were thinking of adopting any of them, please make sure to review the requirements in your area region with your broker, branch manager, or manager, including those related to contacting consumers. We do want to highlight the importance of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, better known as tcpa. The general rules are that it's okay to call people if the person recently gave you their phone number, but remember to check the DNC list regularly if they haven't spoken to that person in a while. You will also want to check the DNC list anytime you don't have permission. Automated calling texting platforms should never be used. Pre recorded messages in artificial voices should never be used. You will be personally liable for any violations of the tcpa. We'll mention the TCPA a few times throughout this presentation. In this demo, we're going to be discussing how to connect your social media profiles to your ProspectSquare account. You'll want to start on MyCVdesk.com and click into the ProspectSquare tile. Once inside of Prospect Square, navigate to the top right corner of your page and select from the drop down menu My Profile. In this window, you'll have the ability to adjust any of the personal information as well as social media links attached to your Prospect Square profile. As mentioned in today's demonstration, we'll specifically be showing you how to add your social media links into your account. You can scroll through the screen to navigate to the social media area or use the social media links button at the top of the page. From here you'll see that you have various social media accounts that allow you to copy and paste the URL to your profiles. Please pay special attention to the social media accounts that require you to connect to those accounts. You'll see that Next to Facebook, LinkedIn, and X formerly known as Twitter, when you add URLs to those accounts, you'll need to complete the connection by clicking on the button and signing into that account. Let's do a demonstration of how to connect your Facebook profile in another tab of your browser. It's suggested that you have your Facebook business profile already open. From here you'll want to copy and paste the URL from the top of your page. Navigating back to Prospect Square, you'll paste the URL into its respective location. As I mentioned, you'll need to connect your Facebook account, so after copying and pasting the URL, click on Connect. You'll want to follow through the rest of the list adding in any URLs to the social media accounts you currently have. I'll do a demonstration of how you can add in Instagram as well as YouTube. After you've added in your URLs to your accounts, be sure to click Save and close.
