We appreciate you being here since this program is optional and discusses best practices for your consideration. If you are thinking of adopting any of them, please make sure to review the requirements in your area region with your broker, branch manager, or manager, including those related to contacting consumers. We do want to highlight the importance of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, better known as tcpa. The general rules are that it's okay to call people if the person recently gave you their phone number, but remember to check the DNC lists regularly if they haven't spoken to that person in a while. You will also want to check the DNC list anytime you don't have permission. Automated calling texting platforms should never be used. Pre recorded messages in artificial voices should never be used. You will be personally liable for any violations of the tcpa. We'll mention the TCPA a few times throughout this presentation. How to create Groups for Contacts in Moxie Engage we begin on Desk by clicking the Moxie Works tile. Once in moxiworks, select Engage from the navigation bar. There are two ways to add contacts into a group. First of all, make sure that you build your group names or labels as you like. By clicking Edit Groups, you have the ability to create a Brand new group, e.g. seller, by typing in the name Create and Save. It'll take a few seconds for the system to assign that new group name or label, and once it's created you can either assign several contacts at the same time or individually. To assign several contacts at the same time to the same group, you can just select them from your dashboard on My People by checking the box next to their name. Then the option above that says Add to will highlight and the first option is Groups. So I want to add two groups, for example Seller, which is the group that I just created, and click Done. The system will confirm that these four contacts are being added to groups. In order to add an individual contact to a group, you can just select the name of the contact, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see the option right here. Use groups to organize your people. Add to Groups all of the group names that you have set up under the Edit Groups option will display here and then you can just click the plus sign next to that contact to assign them to one or more categories and make sure that you click Done in order to save that change.
