A short YouTube quick-tip by Tom Pelton (uploaded July 8, 2024) that combines regulatory guidance and a product demo. The speaker highlights TCPA compliance best practices (avoid automated/prerecorded calls or texts, check DNC lists, obtain permission) and then demonstrates how to download a shared photo from the Marketing Center by logging into mycvdesk.com, opening the Marketing Center tile, navigating to My Images → Shared with Me → select folder (example: cbway) → three-dot menu → Download.

We appreciate you being here since this program is optional and discusses best practices for your consideration. If you are thinking of adopting any of them, please make sure to review the requirements in your area region with your broker, branch manager, or manager, including those related to contacting consumers. We do want to highlight the importance of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, better known as tcpa. The general rules are that it's okay to call people if the person recently gave you their phone number. But remember, remember to check the DNC lists regularly if they haven't spoken to that person in a while. You will also want to check the DNC list anytime you don't have permission. Automated calling texting platforms should never be used. Pre recorded messages in artificial voices should never be used. You will be personally liable for any violations of the tcpa. We'll mention the TCPA a few times throughout this presentation.
Log in to my cvdesk.com and click on the Marketing center tile. Go to the My Images tab on the left navigation bar. Expand the Shared with Me folder, then select your desired Content folder. For this demonstration, I am going to download a photo from the cbway folder. Choose your desired photo, then select the three dots and download the image. The image will open in a new window allowing you to save to your computer.
