We appreciate you being here since this program is optional and discusses best practices for your consideration. If you are thinking of adopting any of them, please make sure to review the requirements in your area region with your broker, branch manager, or manager, including those related to contacting consumers. We do want to highlight the importance of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, better known as tcpa. The general rules are that it's okay to call people if the person recently gave you their phone number, but remember to check the DNC lists regularly if they haven't spoken to that person in a while. You will also want to check the DNC list anytime you don't have permission. Automated calling texting platforms should never be used. Pre recorded messages in artificial voices should never be used. You will be personally liable for any violations of the tcpa. We'll mention the TCPA a few times throughout this presentation.
Edit or delete your contacts in moxiompress you'll first want to click into your Contacts section. Within the Contact section of your moxiompress account, you can choose to manage contacts, create new contact, import contacts, manage groups, manage custom fields, or get support. Within your moxiompress, you will be able to edit and delete only contacts that you have manually added into the system. For contacts that are grayed out, such as this one, that means that those contacts cannot be modified or deleted within your Moxie and Press account. These contacts are specifically feeding over from your Moxie Engage account, and therefore that is where you would need to make, edit or delete that contact. For contacts that show up in black font, those are contacts that you have manually added into your Moxie and Press account, whether that be by import or by manually typing in the contact information. To make edits to these contacts, you'll go ahead and click on the contact name that will open up the Edit Contact section. Within this section, you're able to edit the name, the email, the phone number, and the street address. You'll enter in the required data for information for that modification. Once you've entered that in, you'll want to go ahead and click on Save. You'll then receive a notification that that contact has been updated in order to delete a contact. Like I mentioned before, if you see a contact that is grayed out, that means that you cannot edit or delete that contact within your Moxie and Press account. In parentheses you will see Moxi Works, meaning that this contact is feeding over from your Moxie Engage account and therefore to make edits or delete this contact, you must go back into your Moxie Engage account to do that. If I need to delete a contact that I've man added into my Moxie and Press account, I can easily go ahead and select that contact by clicking on the checkbox to the left of their name. And again for contacts that you have added into your Moxie and Press account, those contacts will show up in black font and you will be able to click on that information. Once I've selected the contact that needs to be deleted, I can go ahead and click on the Action field. Within the Actions field I can go ahead and select Delete Selected or Delete all Contacts. If I Delete Selected, it will only delete the contact that I've selected with this check mark. If I choose Delete all Contacts, it will delete all contacts within that page. Once you've clicked Delete Selected, you will be asked to confirm this action because this cannot be undone. Click Confirm and then you will see the notification that the contact has been successfully deleted.
