Appreciate you being here since this program is optional and discusses best practices for your consideration. If you were thinking of adopting any of them, please make sure to review the requirements in your area region with your broker, branch manager, or manager, including those related to contacting consumers. We do want to highlight the importance of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, better known as tcpa. The general rules are that it's okay to call people if the person recently gave you their phone number, but remember the check that DNC lists regularly if they haven't spoken to that person in a while. You will also want to check the DNC list anytime you don't have permission. Automated calling texting platforms should never be used. Pre recorded messages in artificial voices should never be used. You will be personally liable for any violations of the tcpa. We'll mention the TCPA a few times throughout this presentation.
To edit your Moxie website header and footer, first navigate to the Agent Website Admin Tool Dashboard. From here, hover over Appearance in the left column and then click on Header. You'll notice that the default header has the COLDW logo, a blue background and white text. If you would like to change the location of the logo or or the color of the header, background or text, you can do so by selecting one of these other layout options. In this case, I'm going to click on Slim Style Logo left and you'll see that it now gives me the ability to change the background color and the text color. If you do adjust these settings, make sure to select the appropriate logo for your header background. Once you've made changes, click on Publish in the bottom left. To edit your footer, click on Appearance and then Footer. If the default footer is selected, you'll notice that it is a blue or gray background with white text as well as any disclaimers. If you would like to change the color of your footer or add additional content, click on Custom Footer and then update. This will then give you the ability to customize your footer. When you click on Customize, it opens up your footer in the Moxie Website Builder, which will allow you to make any edits or additions. Once you are done making your changes, click on Done in the top right.
